  1. The limitations right now are: 1) You cannot find out what Future Cruise Credit Certificates you have. 2) If you use a portion of the balance of a Future Cruise Credit, you can't find the balance from it since the balance will be reissued as a new Future Cruise Credit certificate, and not immediately, but within 2 to 4 weeks. It really gets very frustrating continuing to deal with the antiquated processes behind these Future Cruise Credit certificates. Yes, it would be nice to be more flexible like with how credits are associated with individuals from the original reservation but sometimes can be used slightly differently depending on the circumstances of the new booking and people on the reservation, but there are some basics that could be done almost immediately... 1) The Future Cruise Credit is associated with the booking number from which it came. The booking number from which it came is associated with a Crown & Anchor number. Minimally, immediately, it should be possible to let a Crown & Anchor member view current Future Cruise Credit certificates and their current status (i.e., if used or not, etc). 2) It should be possible to either reduce the balance on a Future Cruise Credit as it is used, or to immediately issue a new certificate with the remaining balance once some portion gets used; either way, it shouldn't take 2 to 4 weeks, and should be possible to immediately apply amounts from a Future Cruise Credit to multiple bookings.
  2. I've been keeping an up-to-date collection of relevant materials on the docket for the Florida v. HHS, CDC case. You can review many of the filings from there. Florida v. HHS, CDC (2150.com)
  3. The British Colonial Hilton is where Royal Caribbean is staging check-in for the cruise sailings on Adventure of the Seas; staying there would certainly make everything the most convenient it could be for you. British Colonial Hilton Nassau Hotel in the Bahamas
  4. Assuming you mean July 2022 (since there's no July 22, 2021 or July 22, 2022 sailing), that's more than a year in the future and it's rare for prices on sailings that distant to even be eligible for the usual Cruise Planner sales or to have much thought in place about a default sale price, so that's probably what they consider is a then-current full-price per-day cost for the package. And it basically being on a new ship also puts it in a category of getting higher pricing in general. But you probably won't see any sort of movement on prices for it until July or August 2021. As far as I know, Royal Caribbean hasn't really stated a range in prices for the beverage packages lately, so the last info that came out was "Onboard pricing is currently $63.00 - $89.00/per day for 2021-2022 sailings." as seen online at Cruise Drink & Beverage Packages | Royal Caribbean Cruises.
  5. The Cruise Planner sales generally last a week and then there's generally a 2 to 3 week period before the next one begins. The specific sale dates usually get skewed in a way that permits a major US holiday period to be within a sale period. For instance, the current sale ends on May 5, 2021. Memorial Day weekend is coming up. The next sale will include Memorial Day weekend. That probably means it will start about May 28, 2021 and run through June 2, 2021. That is also a bit long between sales, so we might see the current sale get extended for a few days or another week, or we could see the Memorial Day weekend sale start earlier. The flyer describing the sale usually comes out 3 to 5 days or so beforehand. Check the URL https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Promotions/Snapshot_of_CruisePlanner_Offers every few days; it will be updated with the next upcoming sale before that sale begins. The prices on items generally begin to change in the late afternoon or evening prior to the first day of the sale. It can take as long as another day for the percent-off banners to appear correctly on the graphics in the Cruise Planner, but the pricing is generally correct by this point. Similarly all the banners will disappear once the sale ends, but the prices don't necessarily revert immediately. Some will. Some may change to a different price point. Some may remain at the sale price for an indeterminate extra period. Each sale tends to focus a little bit on some specific smaller group of things getting a bigger-than-usual percent-off discount. So while a lot goes on sale, only some subset gets a "good" sale price for that sale, so stay watchful. There's also a pretty consistent range for many items. Beverage Packages usually see 20%, 25% or 30%-off sale pricing, for instance. Anyway, if you pay attention to them long enough you'll pick up on the patterns of how things progress. ?
  6. You could book it now and then work on convincing her. If you ultimately fail, the booking is eligible for the Cruise With Confidence program. ? Plus you know the general rule about asking forgiveness being easier than getting permission...
  7. Worth noting, too, is the Crown & Anchor Double Points offer booking window currently ends on June 30, 2021, for all sailings departing on or before September 30, 2022.
  8. The US and Canada do not have an agreement for Canada to treat the US Passport as valid for 6 months past the expiration date, though there is an agreement for the US to treat a Canadian passport as being valid 6 months past its expiration date. 9 FAM 403.9 (U) NIV ISSUANCES (state.gov)
  9. He's going to need to take it to an acceptance center because it is damaged. I really wouldn't wait; just get it taken care of, especially during a period it's definitely not needed. Apply in Person (state.gov)
  10. It's a common question during a backstage tour in the theater, and that's the answer to it, usually with some specific examples of parts of the sets. All things considered, you can always remove sets without doing anything to the ship provided you don't care about preserving those parts of the set that would have to be torn apart. ? I dug this info up, not quite complete but I took it through all the Broadway-style show info I could find, plus some original productions. Allure - Mamma Mia (started May 2015 after drydock) Allure - (original productions: Blue Planet) Allure - Chicago (removed) Quantum - (original productions, Sequins & Feathers) Quantum - Mamma Mia (removed - was moved to Allure) Anthem - We Will Rock You Anthem - (original productions: The Gift) Oasis - Cats (started fall 2014 after October 2014 drydock) Oasis - (original productions: Come Fly With Me) Oasis - Hairspray (removed) Harmony - Grease Harmony - (original productions: Columbus) Independence - Grease Independence - (original productions: Once Upon a Time) Liberty - Saturday Night Fever Liberty - (original productions: In the Air, Supreme Divas of Motown) Symphony - Hairspray Symphony - (original productions, Flight) Odyssey - Spectrum - (original productions: The Effectors, Showgirl! Present. Future.) Ovation - (original productions: The Beautiful Dream, Live. Love. Legs.) There's a YouTube video where Royal Caribbean promoted having moved the show, though not really details... but still lots of show music and scenes and a fun watch.
  11. The major Broadway-style show on any ship is only going to change after a drydock; it's the only way to replace the sets -- literally opening the side of the ship to move them in and out.
  12. Since the ship is in/around Barcelona at that time, I'd guess there's likely some sort of scheduled drydock. Looking at the info on Rhapsody, it seems the last scheduled maintenance/refit was December 2016, so this would make 5 years, which would be the expected period between drydock maintenance/inspections.
