We are having the same issue.  Had diving excursion booked for 6 months for our June cruise, but then RCCL cancelled it.  I have been checking regularly, but they have not posted any other dive options.  Is Buddy Dive near the port?  We have always booked our dives through the cruise line so we are a bit hesitant.

We are cruising May14th and will be diving with Buddy Dive. I booked this on my own through Buddy Dive. They have a great reputation as a dive center and are short walk from the pier.

When doing the math to decide on getting the DBP I don't just figure in alcoholic drinks, but also specialty coffees, juices, bottled water, etc. If the daily price drops below $60 then it's worth it to me. My wife doesn't drink alcohol at all, so I just call RC and they allow me to have the DBP without her having to purchase one.

We did the same thing, we called and explained why my wife cant drink and they allowed for me to get the DBP and she didn't have to.

I am by no means an expert or even all that well read on things but to me it seems as though the CDC wants to create as many unachievable obstacles as possible so that they can simply say, look we tried and you the cruise industry can't  follow them. The why (I always try to understand the why) they wants this doesn't make any sense to me. But them again what sense has the CDC made over the past year or so?
