  1. With the airport closed at least until tomorrow morning, there will be a lot of people scrambling to figure out how to get there.
  2. All those people flying in today for tomorrow's Liberty of the seas, ouch.
  3. That would make sense, but for those weekender cruises and rumors I've heard from officers on board that they want to build another dock at Coco Cay, I'm not sure that's it.
  4. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2023/04/13/royal-caribbean-ceo-says-new-beach-club-will-address-poor-nassau-customer-feedback?fbclid=IwAR1lk0qQoyTrt-SjvzVZtiMwaobc5Ec2IzxLUXTi79O7_Eh5G7hlAqg2748 Nassau will still get poor feedback because people won't want to spend several hundred per person for this beach club when their itinerary likely includes Coco Cay anyway.
  5. May be quite a few people who parked at Port Everglades coming back to a rude surprise when Liberty returns on Friday.
  6. I think it's more of a "anyone booking an extended leg would have done so by now" so they're opening up the shorter itineraries.
  7. If you turn your head and cough, you might have covid.
  8. You'd then fall into "other" https://www.royalcaribbean.com/guest-terms/cruise-ticket-contract-booking-terms-and-conditions/master-royal-booking-conditions/

  10. This really shouldn't affect the majority of passengers sailing on US-based cruises. The email noted changes to cancellation policies, though I don't see anything different yet. Looks like the covid refund policy got extended to the end of May instead of end of April. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/covid-19-cancellations-and-refunds-policy.pdf
  11. Royal-CTC-U.S.-rev-02.17.23-final.pdf EN - Guest Terms and Conditions.pdf ShoreX-HealthAcknowledgement7.13.21-1Page-1.pdf Looks like this officially washes RC's hands of any covid on board, officially treating covid like any other illness. Also looks like they're washing their hands of anything that goes wrong on a shore excursion offered by RC.
  12. At the snack shack, you just ask for a gluten free bun and they'll cook a fresh burger for you. Cruise ship elevators will always be the bane of my cruising existence. It never seems that elevators are efficiently used, leading to packed elevators when others sit there empty not responding.
  13. If you have a legit concern about the frailty of an elderly passenger then you better get travel insurance.
  14. When booking a cruise or onboard cruise stuff, if you find yourself debating "should I book it or wait" the answer always is "book it." You can always get a lower price if it drops later.
  15. It's a complementary bar, not a convenient bar Some very wise words right here.
  16. Sorry, but a VR dinner sounds like a terrible idea to me.
  17. Participation is always quite low for those themes (even less than formal night), at least in my experience.
  18. The ship doc giving an IV for covid seems pretty strange though, unless there were other issues presenting themselves.
  19. There were never any rampant covid outbreaks at the peak of covid. There won't be now. Plus if it was day 4 she started showing symptoms, it's not even a given she got it on the ship. So no, don't worry.
