  1. As time gets closer I would think the cruise planner will add the Kennedy Space Center as an excursion. The price on my cruise planner is $149/pp ($10 less for young children) which includes: 30 minute bus ride to the center (and back to port), entry to most attractions, 5 hours for the touring, meet with an astronaut, some hands on fun, time on your own to explore, etc.
  2. So with our excursion lunch is included…thankfully! Otherwise, perhaps we will bring a few bottles of water from the ship? And a few snacks? Thanks for letting us know the facility is decent! Was it crowded at all?
  3. Ooo I cannot see the video! . I can just imagine the ‘Tango Look’ though!
  4. We did the Crystal Caves excursion and loved it! On our second day…we took the city bus to Horseshoe Beach…another great time!
  5. Glad you started this topic! Not sure why I was waiting to send my own request but your post reminded me that I needed to do so…which I also did today! Already got my reply that they are working on it
  6. It’s perfect time to send that email to the dining room! Be sure to include ship name, date of cruise, and reservation number on the subject line. Email [email protected]
  7. Oh my gosh awesome pictures Raye! Gave me the best chuckle especially the pics of you and Dan hosting the “birdies”! Oh and that scuba reflective one is !
  8. Happy sailing! Hope your first night onboard is perfect so far. Looking forward to some updates along the way. I’m guessing no one here decided to do a live blog!
  9. Absolutely TWO bathrooms is key. Connecting OV Balcony rooms are perfect although not sure any of them are for 3 people. But you should be able to find two rooms next to each other…one for two people and one for 3. Sometimes a room for 3 is very difficult to find. In that case you can book a room for 4 and a room for 1. Once onboard the adult you put in the room with the 3 children can move into the room with the other adult and the 3 children will have their own room. Perk for doing it this way is the room with just one adult will earn double points. If this way of booking is still cheaper than booking a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms (I definitely believe it would be!)…it’s a win-win.
  10. Are they still only doing express check-ins in Miami? If so, will other ports join in somewhere down the line?
  11. For me…once you’ve been to a few of them…you feel as though you’ve seen them all! Almost always same or very similar questions. Just not entertaining enough to sit through.
  12. Agree with @Ampurp85 regarding timeframe and payments, etc. Typically a three person room cannot become a two person room without price adjustments typically increasing…or perhaps not at all! You could also just leave everything as is and have that second person be a no show. Once onboard…the third person in your room can just stay in the other room for the cruise. Their keycard will still be connected to the original room but you can get an extra key for the second room from guest services.
  13. Exactly! Allergies are just starting to hype up big time right now…anyone with any sensitivity to anything outdoors is sniffling and perhaps even coughing a little. Me included! Not sick…just allergic!
  14. Probably May 1. My sail date is May 16 and my tags showed up yesterday April 16.
  15. I think you mean Nassau? Not really any dining spots in the new port area but some cute vender booths.
  16. we are under 30 days to go! My luggage tags and cruise documents showed up yesterday! Love it when I can get all my papers in order!
  17. Thanks for giving your thoughts on Hideaway. I think I will keep to my plan of checking it out for an hour or so next month. But I am going to cancel my September reservations for Peter and myself.
  18. You still need to check in and choose your boarding time…maybe not at Midnight but...
  19. Ahh perhaps you can give me your opinion? I’ve read a few comments from others and still undecided if it’s worth it or not. I plan to check it out for just a short time while on my Symphony cruise next month but can’t stay for long as the rest of my group is unable to join me due to the kiddos. I paid $35. I’m curious. Peter and I have it booked for our Utopia cruise (paid $40/pp using OBC) and keep wondering if that $$$ would be better used elsewhere!
  20. Loving the pic, Raye! I’ve been rocking the baseball hats lately and already have several put aside for my May cruise! Although looks like you’ve got the visor look going…I think I’m gonna steal your idea and purchase a few! Love the waterfall pic!
