I too think the filet at Chop's is the worst of the bunch.......which is why I stopped doing dinner there. the sides are also lackluster. No real signature drinks make it an all-around loser when it comes to specialty restaurants.

I used to laugh so hard when I bartended, and people would think an Aperol spritz was apple based. Then get supper mad it was bitter and a little weird. Same thing when St. Germaine became popular as a bubbles add-on from housewives.......like its floral. I will try something new every once and a while but that's only because having voucher/drinks package makes it easy.

Yes, they may offer a few similar items, but preparations and offerings are different enough to notice. GT is the one without pizza. Originally, I had a bad experience with GT and it turned me off, while just a few months later having an amazing experience at GK because the pizza, and apps were good. But GT really shines on the smaller class of ships and then I did Allure and Oasis, and it cinched my newfound love of GT.

GT really grew on me, and I can appreciate the differences, I have had two lackluster experiences of GK, on Wonder and Freedom. So, I am looking forward to Jamie's and GT, as GK won't be in my future until I sail Icon in 2026. The bread at GT is some good stuff, plus they had the best minestrone soup I have tasted on any ship.

Yes, that is why I was confused by the OP post. My mother and her best friends shared a room on Odyssey, the sofa was a twin size bed that didn't pull out. They put a mattress pad on it for her and she said it was comfortable.

The water is absolutely beautiful in those photos. I am doing Reflection(4N) as part of my Jan 2026 S2S2S and I felt a shorter cruise on X was better. I originally had Ascent booked for 2025 and was on the same cruise as @asquared17. The smoke free casino really appeals to me, but I do worry about the food. The lack of certain things doesn't bother me as much as I am solo without children and rarely venture on the pool deck. If they merge or match casino programs, I may completely switch. I have several coworkers who cruise and there are a few that are loyal to Royal, but the major gripe is the tiny humans and lack of parental awareness. There is one who doesn't sail Royal because of this and says Viking, X and Princess are way better.

I think I may need to clarify my post, in a room that holds two people, the sofa might not have removable cushions. If that sofa in the picture is the same one from Oasis, Harmony, Allure and probably Wonder in a 2-person cabin, it did not have removable cushions. Not saying it can't be turned into a bed. But Royal won't book 3 people in a room that does not have a sofa bed or upper births. But it could be the post doesn't present itself correctly. There are sofa beds that do not open up to beds, meaning that is a twin size bed but doesn't open. I have seen these on Royal.

They would not have put three people in a room if the sofa couldn't be turned in a bed. Nor can those cushions be removed on that type of sofa in the picture.

It's not that you can't leave before 12, it's that your flight has to be after 12pm. They usually wait for the shuttle to fill up and if you are in a rush, it doesn't work. Mostly because disembarkation and embarkation day are a mess. If you are sailing from Miami the $10pp shuttle or rideshare can be the best option.

Removing an item from cart has no bearings on purchased items. If you remove it from your past orders yes.

If you scroll up a bit in the post, there are post that suggest the bookings will be open 30 days prior to sailings. There are people sailing in Sept that can't make reservations yet and May is a long ways off.

A party of 4 could be too high if all the tables for 4 are booked out at 6:45., hence my previous statement. The summer months are popular sailing times and be advised that because of the UDP, they hold back reservations to accommodate those people. However more than likely it is an issue with cruise planner. Keep trying.

So, the hotel looks nice.......it reminds me of like the rental property of a vintage......like it looks and feels like this is hard candy in the bowls if you know what I mean.

There could be an error with the actual cruise planner, or the reservations are errors due to party size/time. Sometimes you might be able to be a party of 6 but not at 7:30 and vice versa.

Welcome Zohar, This is a blog, not the actual website for RCG. Your information for question 1 can be found on your invoice as it lists the hours in port. The answer to your second question will 99% be a no but you can call Royal and know for sure.
