  1. Definitely a full show tonite. It is possible that they are missing a female diver but it didn’t impact the show at all. Excellent show as always.
  2. Thanks ! It’s my fave. Looking forward to it. Wish you and J were here with us.
  3. We should all be going through the Panama Canal that week….
  4. This happened when Allure was launched. We were scheduled to be on the inaugural but they moved it up 1 week. They did call and ask if we wanted to move over to the new inaugural but we were flying to cruises in those days so we just stayed on our original sailing.
  5. We’re supposed to be going to Labadee this week. No indication of a change of itin.
  6. We have reservations for tonite’s show. Hopefully all is well.
  7. On OA now and I noticed this morning that there are casitas that face the ocean.
  8. I thought the Sky JS on Utopia WAS full Sky benefits. No ? I have one booked on Utopia in Sept.
  9. Congratulations on getting to Prime. It’s an important hurdle. Yes, the number of casino comp rooms are limited. Nobody really knows (intentionally) how many rooms of any cabin type are a available on any particular sailing so it’s anybody’s guess. Yes, everyone will be trying to book as soon as the comp cruises are made available (usually around 4-15 but can be any time after 4-1) so booking ASAP is wise. Yes, available casino comp rooms will become harder to get the longer you wait. Casino comp rooms will be very limited (assuming, based on previous experience) on the newer ships….for instance, Icon will be eligible for casino comps sailing after 1-27-25 so everyone and their brother will be trying to book an Icon comp for Feb-Mar 2025. My guess is that very few cabins will be available for casino comps on those sailings to begin with and they will go quickly. Maybe Royal will block casino comps from Icon entirely but if they do, that would a dick move. I hope they don’t.
  10. If I recall, all beds can be split EXCEPT for those in Star Class. So unless I'm mistaken (which is entirely possible), the bed in the MBR on the 2BR ATS cannot be separated.
  11. Not exactly the same thing, but with the Royal Up, which is kind of like a GTY....I found that the resulting room that was assigned to me (oceanview balcony) was actually a much nicer room than I had chosen for myself on the second half of my Radiance B2B. I thought I had chosen a nice room for leg #2, but when I got there, it was a huge disappointment and it turns out that the RU that was awarded on leg #1 had been a much nicer room !! Completely random chance, I realize that....but it goes to show that sometimes the room you THINK will be better, really isn't !
  12. This is very disappointing. How in the world are you supposed to know what the fare/cost will be BEFORE you make a booking ? Completely unsat.
  13. I’m going to keep my word about not starting a live blog for this Oasis cruise….but I have 1 thing to pass on, so I will do it here. Despite there being 73 Pinns on this cruise, we are all being allowed full access to the CK and the SL with one exception. Breakfast for Pinns will be in Chops vs CK. I am a-ok with this arrangement. Francis, the S Concierge (love me some Francis) said quietly that the “Top 30” thing was an utter disaster. I have heard the same thing recently from other Concierges. It appears (my words) that the Top 30 solution is going away and the new philosophy is “come one, come all….at your own risk”. So, it seems that it will be first come, first served. I guess it’s to be seen how the Suites guests react and whether or not they will be negatively impacted.
  14. There are 3 ways to get a “free “ cruise in the casino. 1. Earn at least 1500 points on any cruise. This is called an “Instant” reward. These are the cruises listed in the QR codes found in the casino. The level of the offer depends on your level of play and your losses. You can earn an instant reward every time you cruise if you earn the points required. Certificates earned on the same cruise can be combined (see @Pattycruise comment above). 2. Earn 2500 points over a 1-year period from 1 April of one year through 31 March of the following year. This is a tier level (Prime) reward. You can claim this free cruise any time after ~15 April…or when the new casino year starts. Each tier level player gets 1 of these per casino year. 3. A random offer that comes through the mail, email or on clubroyaleoffers.com. These rewards are called “Monthlies”. Monthly offers are based solely on the level of play and losses from your most recent cruise. #1 also has some bizarre sub-categories that can be very confusing. For instance, if you earn a certificate for less than 1500 points, sometimes there is a complimentary offer associated with it but in order to use it for a complimentary cruise, you must have purchased a Next Cruise Open Booking. Without the NCOB you will only receive the $$$off associated with the certificate. Also, ANY instant reward comp cruise, regardless of its value, requires a NCOB in order to receive the “free play” bonus associated with it. No NCOB, no free play. Clear as mud ? Yea, me too.
  15. Yes ! They had the egg drop contest yesterday on Radiance. We didn't go, but we could hear it from our room.
  16. Not sure I'm going to do a live blog for this one since it's rather "ordinary". We are home - at least for the next 18 hours. Laundry is going. Repacking or should I say, reshuffling has begun. I actually find this repacking thing to be more stressful than packing from a dead start. Some things are clean, some things need washing and some things are ??? Dan is terrible about hanging his worn clothes back up....so I am never really sure what has been worn and what hasn't. So I'm "sorting".
  17. I hope so. We have a 3 night package plus 2 BOGO's so hopefully we will be able to do Portside. I love eating there !
  18. So sorry that you had this happen. Hope he’s feeling better soon. Sorry you’re missing your cruise. Are you SC on this one ?
  19. My hearing sucks too. At home, we have started using headsets to watch TV. We have no carpeting - all tile - so the acoustics are awful ….plus, my hearing SUCKS. No subtitles yet !
  20. Sorry….been slackin’ off the past couple of days. Nothing of interest to report. Tonite is the last night on Radiance We will be in Tampa tomorrow and we will be disembarking with our luggage first thing, We will meet Gavin, the Concierge Lounge Concierge (something’s not right with that title…) at 7:00 in the Photo gallery (Deck 5). Hopefully we’ll be walking off shortly after 7:00. Speaking of the photo gallery, Radiance still has the old timey photo stands with thousands of hard copy photos to go through to find yours. SUCH a waste of time and money ! I can’t believe that in this day and age they are still analog with the photos ! I hadn’t seen that in years. Just WOW. We finally got to the Cinema to see a movie ! I kept meaning to do it for the past 8 days but finally did it last night. We saw “Haunted Mansion” a Disney movie based on the Disneyland/ World ride. It was very cute and we enjoyed it. The only annoying thing was they had subtitles for the hearing impaired and it was very distracting. I kept trying to ignore them but caught myself reading instead of watching ! Ugh. After my first night of success in the casino, the rest were awful so I quit going after the first few days, They’re really wasted points at the point in the casino year so I will hold onto my money in preparation for 4-1-24 and the start of the new casino year. We’re not getting any offers anyway so why bother ? We will be home one whole night before heading down to PoM to board Oasis (or Oasish, as I call it) for 7 nights going to Labadee, PDCC and Falmouth. I can’t recall the last time I was in Falmouth. It’s been a while. At least we will be driving to Miami on a weekend rather than during the week. It’s a BIT of a break to the horrid traffic. This cruise (one of Dans casino comps) is the one and only time we have ever received a complimentary upgrade on a casino comp. Not sure why….but the offer was for an interior and I asked them to price an upgrade to a Central Park balcony. When the rep came back on the line she said they had authorized a complimentary upgrade. Woohoo ! So this cruise cost us nothing but taxes, port fees and gratuities. We are in a CP with double balcony (12229). I didn’t even bother to do a RU. We actually really like the double balcony CP so we’re happy. So tomorrow is laundry and re-packing day. Off on another great adventure !
  21. You will still hit the security stop….so keep those docs with you
  22. Frankly, traffic in that area is always an issue. Once you pass Jupiter, and then WPB, the traffic is…bad. If you get off the ship and are on your way by 8:00 (which would be doing VERY well), you will hit the major traffic snarls around 11:00 so the morning “rush” should have subsided. It’s still going to be busy, but not like at 7-8 AM.
