My guess would be Q2 2022, after Wonder as debuted.
-
Enchantment must be leaving Baltimore.

The clip on the C&A FB page shows iconic structures in the world so my guess is it’s about Icon. Let’s see!

Be interesting if this 'Suite' neighborhood continues to any future new new builds or whether its just for the Asian Market. From what it looks like there is the Loft Suites and one level suites in the top middle section also a Sun Deck, Coastal Kitchen and Suite Lounge all in the one area.

That's forward thinking alright. They really need Sydney that will be the key one. Unfortunately the port plans to the south harbour were put on ice for now. Oasis 6 is due in 2024 so that timing could be looking more likely.

Excellent will be interested to see what we've got for 22/23. Hopefully some new ports its a bit disappointing that the South Pacific for 21/22 only go to the same ports of Noumea, Mystery Island & Port Vila. What's happened to Lifou, Isle of Pines, Mare, Luganville etc? At least some variety be nice.

It's Australian dollars. Yet still expensive.
RC have this thing about charging lots for newly released itineraries on the Australian site, often $1000+ more. Then they get cheaper after a few months. No idea why they do that??
I was wondering about this, must be the same with the NZD prices as all the prices seems to be much higher especially for the Suites. Currently have Symphony GS booked for Dec 2021 at $3,500 NZD pp and looking to change that to Oasis for Dec 2022 and even a JS is showing around $5,000 NZD pp..

Wonder what’s happening with Enchantment & Rhapsody? Nothing listed after Oct 22 so far.
-
I think this was to be expected. One of the older ships left in the fleet and it was an outlier being around 30,000 or so tons. So for Carnival Group there is still 3 more to go out of the total 19!!
-
Any suggestions on what's happening with Grandeur of the Seas (now that she is staying in the fleet) as the sailings were only originally scheduled until April 2021? Nothing in the recent Summer 2022 release either. Same goes for Empress/Majesty/Enchantment as nothing after April 2022 as well or will these be included in a different deployment release?

So my prediction here is that Allure will be going to Europe for the 2022 season. Would be great if it would be to get the "amp" then before going to Galveston late 22 with the new terminal there opened.

Serenade is also now confirmed for the Winter 2021-22 season out of Sydney, Australia. Radiance will be repositioning from Alaska (Summer 2021) to Miami for 2021-22.
-
One observation i've seen is that there is still no itineraries for Serenade of the Seas post Alaska season 2021 and its not coming down under to Australia for 2021-22. Could be a potential US West Coast season?

I don't think this is much of a problem. None of the Australia season will be going ahead anyways due to Australian restrictions.
I agree, New Zealand ports aren't likely to open either. They are better just to focus on the next Australian season from October 2021. Things "hopefully" should be much better then.

"It may well be possible that we'll resume operations in China and potentially Australia before the end of October."
Living in New Zealand, I find the above statement from the earnings call to reconcile with what I see happening in this region
- Australian International borders are closed to everyone except returning Australians and passengers with exemptions, and anyone arriving in the country must undergo a two-week quarantine at their cost.
- The Australian Government has banned all International travel unless you have an exemption.
- Borders between states are closed due to the surge in cases in Melbourne, so it is not possible to travel from Sydney (New South Wales) to other states within Australia.
- New Zealand borders are closed to everyone except New Zealand citizens, likely until the end of the year and possibly longer. Anyone arriving in the country will have to undergo a two-week quarantine at their own cost.
The limitations above are in place for the foreseeable future, and it is highly unlikely there will be any relaxation by October/November. Any crew arriving would have to quarantine before passengers would be allowed on board, crew and passengers would have to quarantine again for voyages to New Zealand.
There is a general distrust of the cruise industry after the Ruby Princess and Diamond Princess outbreaks earlier in the year, particularly the Ruby Princess which was responsible for aiding the original spread of the virus in New South Wales.
I am not familiar with the situation in China, so this might be a more realistic appraisal for that region.
Based on all the above I can see the entire Summer 2020-2021 Australia/NZ/South Pacific season being cancelled at this stage.

Empress is heading to Malta right now.

Just a thought, if Majesty of the Seas could go to Cuba, surely one of the Vision Class ships could as well? It appears say comparing Majesty to Grandeur (or Rhapsody/Vision) there is only 11m difference in length. Could they not use one of these ships if Cuba opened in that case?

Interesting no Serenade. I wonder where she is heading after Alaska in 2021. Perhaps another Panama Canal opportunity.
Yes only one season 20-21 down under it seems. Could it be headed for West Coast US?

So the itineraries are now out, here’s my observations:
• No Top End or Bottom End Australia itineraries
• New port: Eden, Australia
• Expanded season in Brisbane for Radiance of the Seas
• Departure of both Voyager & Serenade for 21-22.
• Quantum & Ovation doing similar itineraries
• Otherwise a mixture of South Pacific, Australia & New Zealand itineraries.
-
Yes that's long been predicted. So it looks like only 3 ships for the 21-22 season as there was going to be 4 for the 20-21 season.
-
I just got a crown and anchor advance notice. The schedule will be out tommorow 11/06.
So far confirmed deployment is:
Ovation of the Seas & Quantum of the Seas (Out of Sydney)
Radiance of the Seas (Out of Brisbane)
Looks like Voyager is definitely leaving down under and also Serenade going by the above.
Where is Allure going 23/24?

Allure being absent from the 7 night/long caribbean release and Harmony now confirmed in its place it has got me thinking about where its going.. Here's some ideas I was thinking...
Love to hear what your thoughts are on where its headed?
