@JessMay Welcome to the Royal Caribbean Blog Forum.
Good Luck with that. Let us know how it goes...

Nice to know, we have a B2B next May on Anthem (Norwegian Fjords make up of cancelled RCB group cruise). Hoping that by then no testing at all will be needed...

Wait, there was an archery range?
Yes, and skeet shooting, and a driving range (both of which polluted our oceans)!

Yes, they still have escargots on the daily favorites dinner menu.
Yes, it seems like all Royal ships have them every night !!! Yum. I once got 2 for an appetizer, 2 for my meal, and 2 for desert. Our waiter was cracking up and had fun serving them. He made it fun so that I will never forget...

Public Transportation.
Also, you are on the cruise right after ours. Look for ducks. We will be hiding about 25.
We have ducks too. Our May 12th cruise will be our first hiding Ducks and our June 24th will be our second !!! Sorry, you will miss ours. Will yours be tagged?

Thanks @DDD. We are also staying at the Mediterranean Inn on Jun 23rd (for the President's cruise) and will be looking to get to Pier 91. Nice to know they have a private service. I will look into it. Did you need to book it in advance?

We just booked the Mediterranean Inn, but we don't sail until June on the President's cruise. The price was a bit high, but they all are for late June. It was rated 4 out of 5 on tripadvisor.

Most likely you need to update your RC app. That's what I had to do. Go to your app store and update or delete the app and reinstall it.
Or try a phone reboot, which works for me. From everything I am seeing, reading, and for my upcoming May 12th Adventure cruise uploading your vaccination record card is still required. It's in the RCCL App under the Check-In tab at the bottom center (Android).

The point is... welcome to the American Insurance Industry. About as corrupt as any industry can be.
Sad, but true! Caveat Emptor !!!

Point taken! I think many of us just buy the "offered" insurance for peace of mind. But I bet most of us buy it with a scenario in mind that is not actually covered...

@Psycho and Barb Love this idea !!!

Not sure, but I thought Cruise With Confidence was still in affect. When did your brother cancel with RCCL?

@Joanna990 Yes, welcome to the Royal Caribbean Blog Forum!

Yes, keep checking - even once you get on the ship...

No, he was reimbursed by Southwest for his cancelled flights. It’s the cruise fare we are trying to get from the insurance company. They say the weather problem that shut down flights from the northeast does not qualify for reimbursement. Has nothing to do with flight reimbursement.
Royal's Air2Sea would cover both the flights and the cruise. I think this was @HeWhoWaits point. So sorry to hear this @Pooch...

The tests I have taken from CVS which included the Minute Clinic visit have all been covered by my insurance. But I have very good coverage…I don’t know if other insurance companies charge a co-pay or something else. Or even if the additional cost would be covered elsewhere, like a government program of some sort, if there were any charge at all.
I also have to test for a Bermuda trip soon and worry about getting the test results early enough to make sure there is no hiccup getting them emailed to Bermuda Health. I’m sure they get thousands of test results on the same day and don’t want to take any chances. So, I also have the eMed tests available if needed. Always more than one just in case there’s an issue with any of them…better safe than sorry.
Thanks for the insurance coverage information. To date my insurance has always fully covered CVS tests/vaccines.
Yes, Bermuda has me concerned. Because of the timing requirements, I thought about taking two tests - the first one for Bermuda and the second for Royal. But am trying to avoid this...

Also, I did schedule a CVS PCR test as soon as they opened up the available dates. I like to cover all the bases. When I saw the Minute Clinic Antigen test open up three days out, I decided to take it. In order for me to schedule that, I had to first cancel the PCR test. That was easy…just went to the confirmation email and clicked on the ‘cancel visit’ button. Then clicked on the ‘found a better time’ button.
@BrianB Thank You !!! This is exactly what I wanted to know. We are thinking of following this exact plan.

@AugC Welcome to the Royal Caribbean Blog Forum !!!
Our 1 experience at Coastal Kitchen was awesome. Ceil and I ate there every night of a 7 night cruise!!!
-
Also, one more note about the CVS "Rapid test" option in my MA area (can be seen in my picture above) - there are NONE available to me from today (May 1st) through 14days out (the farthest out you can schedule w/ CVS). So that is a NO GO for me...

Yes, if they face directly back they may actually have a bigger balcony and be worth more!
