  1. What a labor of love; this is fantastic!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
  2. WOW, 12 hours and no reply from the OP. Another whine and run post
  3. New ship contracts pre date the current financial situation, downpayment already made, and more than likely more expensive to back out than to move forward. Yes the money is "rolling in", but not into Royal's operations accounts; not for quite awhile yet.
  4. ALL reasons why I am so grateful for my travel agent!!
  5. Not just you, the entire Royal website leaves MUCH to be desired
  6. Not in an SEC filing I'm not saying they won't AMP Allure (I hope they do not personally) but from a fiduciary perspective, it is not a sound decision
  7. Flush with cash?? For the running 12 months ending March 2023 the net income was a loss of $1.037 billion. They have debt due within 12 months of $8.57 billion and total liabilities of $22.3 billion. They had $1.94 billion in cash and $531.1 million in receivables that were due within 12 months. So its liabilities total $28.4 billion more than the combination of its cash and short-term receivables. They aren't flush with anything other than debt.
  8. I am sure it does, my point was 8 X $16.99 doesn’t equal $231. It’s more like $14.44 per device per day
  9. That does not add up to a $231 bill
  10. You gambled You didn't do as well as you hoped You spent the time and energy to create an account and bitch about it OK
  11. What is this “unused OBC” you speak of? My wife said such a thing does not exist!!
  12. Agreed, after 3 times at the beach club (excellent experiences) we decided the last time with the economics of the pass changing, that we would just try a day at South Beach. We were very happy with the decision, PLENTY of good seating, quiet, everything we needed relatively close. Waiting for the adults only area to open and try that out, but we may be South Beach people moving forward.
  13. Exactly what I am experiencing for my Odyssey sailing in March '24
  14. Royal Caribbean has never had any issues taking my money
  15. Good advice, the Trawick plans have a CAP per policy year as well.
  16. Another vote for an annual plan, mine is through Trawick International, as @teddy mentioned, it covers us anytime we are 100 miles or more from our home address.
  17. That is what travel insurance is for
  18. I don’t disagree with you in spirit, however, once royal unloads the bags to the longshoreman, has not royal, fully satisfied their legal and contractual obligations? At this point your luggage is the responsibility of the port personnel. How can you hold company A responsible for an incident that happened on the property of Company B
  19. This is correct airline employees handle your luggage from check in to baggage claim which makes the airline liable from point to point. This is not the case with a cruiseline.
