  1. How do these work? Book the cruise with TA and then apply? Or does the cruise have to be cooked with Casino only?
  2. I am on the 9 Day intensive Alaska cruise in May 2021 and that too has disappeared. I have booked excursions for all my stops.
  3. I volunteered because in order for all to return to normality, I was happy to be involved in training the crew the new ways of cruising. I want all to cruise safely and to do that staff need training. How else are they going to learn the right way and allow us to enjoy our future vacations.
  4. We even sent them a screenshot of the terms on the redeem page and they said to take it up with them. Very disappointing

  6. They are saying that it is only 1 per booking now yes the terms and conditions are so confusing
  7. Have the rules changed? So confusing as one part says “ Limit one cruise reward per player per sailing” and the detailed t&c says one per booking at times make no sense whatsoever! husband I play MyVEGAS and redeemed 2 rewards for $100 obc yet they will only accept 1. Can anyone help?

The reason I am asking is that I booked with a week ago and since then price has gone down and even though RCL are happy to change the booking to the new price Iglu insist that RCL will not do it. I just wished I hadn’t booked with them. Their customer service is pathetic just not worth the hassle tbh.

  10. Raffle: yes they really do do a draw but they are always at a specific time and if you not there then they will continue to draw until a winner is found in the audience.
  11. We booked a cruise via Next Cruise. I am in the U.K. and the said cruise was booked under USA offer as it was cheaper than the U.K. price. The problem now is that I need to change the date of the cruise but my U.K. TA says he has emailed RCCL not find out the new price and will not get a reply until Monday. Is this normal? My fear is that we will miss out not only on the current promotions but also the cabin we are after. TA says he cannot put a hold on the cabin anymore as RCCL has banned this. All advice will be appreciated.
  12. They make things so complicated. Initially we had JS booked and as it was booked via Next Cruise we just kept an eye on the prices and deals until such time we could change it to 2 cabins for the same price as JS with OBC of $1000 per cabin. My TA managed to do this for me without incurring any penalties. So I was hoping that as it was from an original on board booking that perhaps I could. I was hoping it would even out .... i guess we cannot win them all
  13. I have 2 cabins booked and both have different booking numbers. Both have been sent separately a Royal Up email. One of the options is for a 2 bed suite. Say I bid using one of the bookings, and win - does that means they will refund the other cabin partially so that we are amalgamated into the suite? I am really torn as to what to do.
  14. Can someone please tell how late the Casinos on the ships are open until? On Radiance in a cabin on deck 7 right above the casino and am wondering if the noise from there will keep us up?

  16. The .UK site is a different layout to .com site. So decided to do a mock booking and take screenshots to understand your confusion. So here is my take on it. Yes you did select “pick your own” but I think from there you were directed to the first available one which could have been worded as a “guarantee “ cabin. This basically means that you are selecting a certain category of a “guarantee” cabin - it is not your selection as such but you are promised a slightly better cabin in your case category 4B than the “basic guarantee “ which are classified category X. I hope this clarifies it for you and you give RCCL another chance. As for Matt our much loved admin, he works very hard to help us make informed choices with our cruises.
