  1. Really? We went to the suite lounge every afternoon on Anthem this summer. It was all the way aft with spectacular views off the back of the ship. Cocktails and snacks and some quiet time before dinner were heaven. I can’t remember which deck it was on. And I thought the food and service in Anthem’s cc was head and shoulders above Oasis. It was spectacular.
  2. I believe Harmony is coming in 2 days late and will return to port on Wednesday now and will shorten the subsequent sailing. I would guess the Sept 15 sailing will go as planned
  3. I agree with @melski94 We had a cabana for 8 on labadee and there were 10 of us - we tipped the attendant a $20 at the beginning of the day - he said it was no big deal. I can't imagine it being a problem - unless you're all in there at one time and are spilling into others' space....
  4. Yup - we've already bought the cabana - I just don't want to be on the receiving end of a wall of water every time someone comes down a slide ?
  5. You will all need to purchase access to the Waterpark to have access to a waterpark cabana. So the 6 would have access - and 4 would need to purchase.
  6. Echoing above - we recently stayed in a Beach Bungalow in Labadee (off Anthem in July) and I bought one in my cruise planner. It's good for 8 people. The bungalows are amazing. Even my parents-in-law who are NOT beach people came and sat in the bungalow all day long while the kids played in the water all day. It was a great day - and we were so thankful for the shade of the bungalow!!! Also - towels are provided - so you don't need to bring any with you!
  7. Has anyone stayed in a thrill waterpark cabana? I know we can't reserve a specific one but we're spoiling ourselves with a star class cruise in December and am going to ask my Genie to hold a specific cabana for us. We want to be near the action (4 boys with us), but not so close that it's overwhelming. Thanks in advance.
  8. We were just there last week and as we were a group of 10 I booked us a tour that ended at Horseshoe Bay. When we left the beach to head back to the ship the line of people waiting for cabs was insane and some people were seriously stressing. So I echo the advice to go early. Leave early and save yourself some unnecessary stress. Also - if you walk literally 5 minutes down the beach the crowds are nearly nonexistent and it’s so beautiful. No chairs, but natural shade and you can lay out a towel It was amazing We we went to crystal caves that morning before the beach and if you haven’t been - it was pretty cool We were the first tour through so no crowds and absolutely amazing
  9. Out of curiosity - any idea when the bumper cars open on boarding day?
  10. We use our hooks for the following: holding sea pass cards/lanyards when we come in the door, holding compass, drying bathing suits, holding various paperwork that comes through your cabin during your cruise (I'm sure they kill a forest for each cruise - makes me crazy), hanging goggles so they don't get lost, and just general miscellaneous stuff that I don't want sitting on the counter. We travel with our two boys, so there is always a mountain of things that I'm trying to get off the counters/desk, etc. The hooks help me maintain my sanity as I allocate one for each person - it helps with the clutter. We also use an over-the-door hanger for shoes (4 people, 7 days = a ridiculous number of shoes), and sunscreen, sunglasses, etc. Also really helps a lot with de-cluttering.
  11. There are a few car-service/limo companies in the city. Here’s a link to one that’s been around for a while. Alternatively a cab is your friend - sorta. Cabs here aren’t the greatest. https://aerocar.ca/our-fleet/car-service-vancouver/
  12. The cheapest I've ever had is $64.80 CAD - so seems like you're in the ballpark for pretty good pricing. It won't go cheaper - or if it does it will be minimal.
