  1. So is the locker single use, or can you use it (open and close multiple times) throughout the day? Payment in cash only or seapass charge?
  2. Looks like a lot of fun, and I'll be there in a couple of weeks! Anybody have an idea about how the lockers work??? Single use or all day access? Cost? Cash or charge against seapass card?
  3. While on St. Kitts, I highly recommend Thenford Grey Tours. Our group of 6 we were traveling with all did their "Grand Tour", and had a fabulous time. Thenford Grey, himself, did our tour, and he was an absolute walking encyclopedia of information on the island. He was the most polite tour guide I've ever had, and would describe him as the perfect gentleman.
  4. +1 for Thenford Grey Tours! Did a Grand Tour with him last time we were on St. Kitts, and had a wonderful time. He is a walking encyclopedia of information on the island.
  5. My Harmony cruise (5/26/19) specifically listed it as "Escape Room" in the cruise planner...
  6. For my Harmony cruise (5/26/19), all the other entertainment and activities became available to book at 109 days out, with the Escape Room being the only thing missing. The Escape room then became available to book in the cruise planner at 31 days out. There is definitely a change in they way the handle the Escape room bookings compared to the other activities across all of the ships with the Escape room. I would just keep checking everyday...It will appear!
  7. To bring this one to conclusion, the Escape Room became available to book in the Cruise Planner at the 31 days out time frame! I now have it booked for our group for our Harmony sailing on 5/26/19! Interesting that all of the other entertainment and activities were available in the Cruise Planner at 109 days out...
  8. I've observed this too, on my 5/26/19 sailing on Harmony. It was advertised as $119, and was only $89 in the cart. I was able to purchase this for 9 people in our group. No idea why the advertised price doesn't match the cart price...
  9. Great photos in dry dock! My question is what did they do with all of the life boats? I don't see them hanging there in this picture... Just curious!
  10. I agree with @SpeedNoodles in that seeing the northern lights in Alaska during the summer is very rare. Having lived in Homer, Alaska for over 35 years, I've never seen them during the summer where I live (about the same latitude as Skagway; and ever so slightly lower latitude than Seward). Here's an untouched picture I took a few years ago out my living room window taken about 12:30am (just after midnight) on June 21st. I've sat out on the porch many times after midnight and easily read a book or the newspaper without lights. You turn on your headlights to drive simply for safety sake, as you really don't need them to see. For those that might be considering a land-cruise tour and visit Fairbanks during the summer, expect about 23 hours of daylight (the sun only dips below the horizon for a little while, and then pops back up!). During the summer solstice (June 21st), there has been an amateur league baseball game that starts just before midnight, and usually ends between 1AM & 2AM. There are never any lights used at any time (certainly don't need them), and depending on where you sit in the bleachers, you need to remember to bring your sunglasses, as you'll need them! 11. On my upcoming Harmony sailing (5/26/19), the entertainment and other activities opened up at 109 days out in the cruise planner. Seems to vary sailing to sailing. Just keep looking in the planner...
  12. Three technically: Harmony 5/26/19, and a B2B on Freedom 6/7/20. Living in Alaska, my airfare costs more than my cruise fare, so I can only manage about one cruise a year... Bringing my family (wife & I plus 3 kids) gets expensive real quick! I'm waiting for June 2021 to be published, and I will be booking one more there.
  13. I'm going to be on this exact same cruise, too! (Harmony 5/26/19). The 5/12/19 sailing will be Harmony's first itinerary that includes Cococay (Eastern loop). This 5/26/19 sailing will be the first time that Harmony will have done this specific combination of ports (on a Western loop) originating from Port Canaveral. Therefore, there won't be any Cruise Compasses from a Harmony cruise that would have done this exact port combination before. I've been patiently waiting for this to become available to book, too! Every time I talk to Royal Caribbean on the phone, I ask them about booking this, and they tell me every time that it will appear in Cruise Planner at some point. If it doesn't, then I have to wait and book it on board. I have had three different customer service reps tell me the same thing. I just keep looking regularly in the cruise planner... All of the other entertainment and onboard activities (flowrider, all-access tours, etc.) became available to book at 109 days out. Just not the Escape Room...
  14. I just checked as you suggested, and now the combo price in my cart is $94.99! (And it's still advertised as $119; Harmony sailing 5/26/19)... Interesting...
  15. This same situation happened to me, too. For my Harmony cruise coming up on 5/26, the advertised price was $119 for the full day combo, and as I checked out, it was only $85! I was able to get this rate for everyone in our group.
  16. Interesting observation... I looked at new cruise options for Oasis, and April is now completely off the available options. October is still out for the Amp. The TA that would have left on 4/14 cannot be booked. There are now only cruises starting in May in Europe listed...
  17. Depending on the ship and how many groups (and sea days) they offer it. I was on Freedom in May 2015, and was able to snag the last two open seats on the tour (which was on day 6) at about the day 3 or 4 mark, so there is hope! On Harmony (5/26/19 sailing), they are offering 6 groups total of about 15 people each, so I would think there are pretty good odds of being able to book it onboard.
  18. On my upcoming Harmony of the Seas cruise 5/26/19, the All Access Tour is offered on the two sea days (2 & 7). It is supposed to be a 2-hour tour with starting times of 8:30AM, 9:00AM, and 9:30AM both days. I've been on this tour before (on Oasis), and it is limited to about 15 people per group. Also be aware that you are checked with a wand metal detector carefully before being allowed to go the the engine control room and the bridge. They also don't allow video to be taken, but allow as many pictures as you want.
  19. I'm on a Harmony of the Seas sailing on 5/26/19. Here are the current prices (including the current sale prices) in my cruise planner: Note that there are NO "South Beach Cabanas" listed at all... I purchased the "Thrill Waterpark Full Day / Zipline Package" for myself along with several others in my group. In the listing for the activity in the cruise planner, the price was $119. When I got to checkout, I found that the price was only $85!!! I was able to purchase for each person at this price! After the purchase, it most certainly shows in "My Calendar" with both the Zip line and the Waterpark Full Day Pass!
  20. ...and having lived in Alaska for over 35 years, yes "cold" is a VERY relative term. When the temperature hits the upper 70's (and maybe even the low 80's) here in the summer (yes, that is a HOT summer day!), there are all sorts of people around us complaining about the heat! I'm perfectly fine and comfortable in a t-shirt down to around 40 degrees, and then I'll maybe throw on a very light jacket or windbreaker below that. On any of the Caribbean cruises, I most certainly enjoy the pools and shade to try and keep cooler, and try to stay out of the direct sun for extended times as I just roast!
  21. Another +1 for @michelle. Absolutely great to work with!!!
  22. I've booked directly with Royal Caribbean on the phone, and have easily been able to add prepaid gratuities to the reservation.
  23. Does anyone have an idea about booking the Escape Room on Harmony of the Seas. I'm on an upcoming sailing (5/26/19). I'm still about 70+ days out, yet. I've looked everywhere in the cruise planner. I see that I can book all of the entertainment options, but nothing on the Escape room. Voom, the Key (it just reappeared!), flowrider stuff is all there and available... I've also looked all over the RC app, and have not figured out any way to book it there, either. Actually, the RC app doesn't even have any of my entertainment reservations in it yet. It does have one shore RC excursion, but is missing all of my CocoCay stuff (Thrill waterpark / zipline). Anyone have any ideas booking this pre-cruise? Or will I have to wait until onboard???
  24. I've been on the All Access Tour on Oasis, and thoroughly enjoyed it! I've watched the price of this tour on my upcoming Harmony cruise, and the price has always been $119 since the first day it became available to book. It has been labeled "On sale", "Pre-cruise pricing", and other "discounted price" sales, but has ALWAYS been $119.
  25. For what it's worth, on my upcoming Harmony of the Seas cruise (sailing 5/26/19), the entertainment options became available for booking 109 days out in the cruise planner...
