By learning from these great people I just snagged a great deal!!! I already did final payment on our May 2020 Western Med cruise but still was checking prices and saw they had dropped. So I called, all RC could say is no. I got the best RC C & A rep, his name is Kenu. I went from a family interior to a GYT Suite (Some people here are a bad influence and YOLO) Yes, I paid the difference but since I listen to the wonderful people on this blog ( see above) I booked as soon as it opened so it was at a great price to start with. The price difference was $700 per stateroom (I know, it was a crazy good price, to me at least) So now we can try out a suite and see if it's worth they extra cost. Of course my husband is worried, he thinks once I try a suite I will never want to go back to a OV balcony (our typical room) Plus again taking the advice from here, I got two staterooms for us four (why we were in two family interior staterooms instead of a OV balcony) So our daughter and her boyfriend are also in a GYT Suite. I just had to share, I'm super excited. I can't wait to see where we land in terms of suites ( totally fine with a JR suite) Plus we get double C & A points!!

I am and apparently I am not Huge fan of washing hands a lot..... I wipe down the whole stateroom, hotel room ...... I use the paper towel to open the bathroom doors But Have I ever wiped down the airplane seat, tray or anything on an airplane, NO ?? You bet I will from now on

@WAAAYTOOO like you, I did not care for the new full face snorkel. I just couldn't find a happy medium with it. Took daughter's boyfriend with me and he had a lot of trouble too. Maybe our heads are shaped weird and @emsff02 isn't'???

@Lovetocruise2002 I looked on Amazon, are these wipes really $179 a canister or do they come in a smaller size and I'm just not finding it?

We are on the May 10th sailing twangster It would stink (really bad) if we skipped Italy, we have three ports there. Do you have any clue what they will replace with Italy? Just want to do lite research now vs trying to figure out something on the ship last minute. Sorry Chris H, not trying to hijack your thread but since you will be there May too, might be helpful if Twangster or anyone else has an idea.

I’ll be in La Spezia (Allure of the Seas) in May 13th this year I’ve booked a Florence & Pisa tour through Joe Banana Limos and Travel they also pick up at La Spezia. Like Tuggboat i haven't been yet. When we get back I can give you my opinion They have really great reviews and they are very responsive to all the emails i've sent (questions that popped up)

Our first cruise was on Disney, daughter was 8. She tried it for a couple hours, that was the last time she has seen the inside of a club. We have been on 5 cruises, she is going to be 21 on this 6th cruise. She stayed with us on all our cruises and we were totally fine with that.

I am by far no expert but have you tried calling a couple times (two or three times)? It seems like if you get the right rep they are more "accommodating". This is only our second cruise with RC but I've called enough times to learn that real fast. All they can say is no but one of them might say yes if there is availability.

Wow, seriously? I’ve read so many books and threads, I’ve heard both sides of it. The problem is RCCL doesn’t have the key things we want to see. There is so much in Rome, we made a list of our top three. That is what we are focusing on. Ok, experience European Cruisers, am I being foolish?

Thanks! They asked me to put a time down so I choose a half hour after the time listed on the RCCL site for my cruise. When we cruised last May, I waited a bit so we were not crowed the poor crew and being in the way. I still don’t want to be a pain but I know I will be super excited to get off ASAP!

We are doing a Mediterranean Cruise booked on the Allure May 10th, 2020 I want to book private excursions to three of the five ports. Realistically what time would you except to get off the ship to meet your driver? We are just Gold level and we are not in a suite nor do we have the Key package. There will be 6 adults. From what I've read all dock so no tenders The Ports are: Florence/ Pisa the port times are 8:30am- 8:30pm Rome (Civitavecchia) the port times are 7am- 8pm Naples the port times are 7am- 6:30pm We want to be the off as soon as possible to make the most of our time at these ports.

Another good point, we have sailed the Harmony last May. This will be our second time on RC both are the Oasis Class. We have sailed other lines.

No, my husband was maxed out on how much time he can take off at one time. We fly home that afternoon on the day we depart from the ship. Very good point of resting, we plan on really using all the time available for the ports. We are all adults, two 40 plus and two 21 year olds Downtime while on vacation is very important too!

We have zip lined in multiply locations and we have never signed form after or in your case during. It is always the first thing you do, period. My theory was they were herding you like cattle and by rushing to get it done forgot the crustal part of signing the forms, their bad. Please make that very clear when you do get a response. I'm so sorry this happen and wish a you the best.

Same happen to us, they are very quick to refund a cancelled excursion. We were on CoCo Cay and due to weather our parasailing was cancelled

Normally we are one of the first on the ship to maximize our time. This May we are cruising on the Allure (first time on her) Western Mediterranean. We are coming in two days before we cruise, third day we board the ship. Our port is in Barcelona (a first for all four of us) We only have one sea day, the last day, so we will not be on the ship as much as a Caribbean cruise. What would you do, explore Barcelona until 2pm or get on the ship early?

We sailed the Harmony this past May, same for us, did not show on Cruise planner until 4 weeks before our sail date. We loved it, been going to the one's here, they are so much fun! Planning on doing the one on the Allure when we sail this upcoming May.

Since I do not have any real experience, only cruised once with RC(so far). Do they enforce it, last May on the HOS, they did not. There were kids all over the place, which was kinda weird, no pool.
