We are officially down to the single digit countdown, so we figured it was time to get our butts in gear. Today, we finished packing and did our pre-cruise spring clean. Now, we are just trying to decide if we want to leave Friday or Saturday. We will be driving from Tennessee, so it is a twelve and a half hour drive, but with babies, it usually takes much longer. If we leave Friday, we can finally try La Bamba. We will be staying at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Airport West in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, and if we leave Friday, we will just find a hotel when we get tired.
My wife and I will be on our Oasis cruise for November 4, 2020 sailing. This will be our first time on an Oasis class ship.

Also forgot to mention, they held a Veteran’s Day event on board in the Promenade. They sang the national anthem, and had one of the casts from Grease sing ‘Hallelujah’ with lyrics changed to honor our servicemen and women. The moment of silence was deafening. Both my husband and I are veterans, and found it to be very touching and moving. (Also on board was a 92 yo WWII vet!). Thanks to RCI for taking the time to honor our vets!
Thank you both for your service.

Interesting that no one wanted the chocolate pieces. I would have thought that they would have been gone first.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am looking at that particular sailing for my wife lived in Jamaica for a year so I wonder if we would have a different experience.
We are doing the Cozumel and Grand Cayman sailing this December 14th. We also have a sailing booking in March that goes just to Cozumel.

What is is about Jamaica that everyone appears to not like? I am looking at booking the same itinerary on Indy: - Fort Lauderdale, Florida | Cruising | Labadee, Haiti | Falmouth, Jamaica | Cruising | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

As a heads-up, I believe Costco has opted-out of the RoyalUp program so it won't be offered to you for any cruises booked through Costco.
Great, this will be another one that I will have to wait until I am 30 days out to be able to bid on an upgrade.

Guess ours went to the travel agent we used. She still hasn't told us that the itinerary changed. Just is assuming I already know, I guess. First and last time with her.
I wonder if this is what happen with mine since I booked this cruise through a travel agent as well. Just like you this is the last time I am using her and have started booking cruses through Costco instead.

I'm going on Brilliance starting December 14th so I am hopeful that the ship will be decked out for Christmas like your ship is for Halloween. From what I have been told it should be.

After I took matters into my own hands and went to the webpage and looked myself. About 2 days later I got the email invitation.
I checked online but since I am not within 30 days of my sailing I am unable to currently bid on an upgrade.

Thanks for the information. I am hoping to upgrade from my ocean view to a balcony.

I saw on another forum that several people on my up coming cruise have received their Royal Up bidding email. I have yet to receive mine and I wanted to check to see when others have received their email? I am currently 44 days out from my sailing on Brilliance.

Does anyone know if I would be able to access the back of the TV to be able to run my Firestick on Brilliance? If I am able to access the back of the TV what remote would you recommend I use to be able to change the source?

Thank's Matt for the quick reply.

About a month or so ago I booked a drink package and then afterwards I booked my room at a lower rate and received a $50 OBC. With the Labor Day sale I was able to get my drink package down to the price I initially paid and apply the OBC toward to total. My question is how long before I see a credit show up on my statement from the initial booking of the drink package?

Which sailing are you on in March? My wife and I are on the March 26th sailing.

I would not ride a bicycle on any roads in Coz where there are taxi drivers! THAT is taking a serious chance with life and limb.
I have read mixed reviews on this. Some people have stated exactly what you said that it is dangerous and other people said it was not that big of an ordeal.
Hopefully someone with some experience in doing this type of activity will respond.

I am going to Cozumel in December and my wife and I are thinking about renting a couple of bicycles to see the island. From my reading I have seen people mention that there is a very long bicycle path on the island so I wanted to see if anyone has done this before and what their experience was with it.
