  1. You will not be sorry! (Just remember the 12-day ones are on a much smaller ship so set your expectations accordingly!)
  2. ah! Any of those Arctic Circle ones will have plenty of fjords
  3. Clear the cache on your browser, or use a different one.
  4. You can book. Just be prepared to not be able to sail if the protocols don't change before your sail date.
  5. You will not have an issue. My husband always wears a short sleeved linen shirt and slacks and never feels underdressed. There will be people dressed up, but not everyone will be. Enjoy!
  6. It acts just like a birth certificate, as long as it is the original or a certified copy (just like you need with a standard birth certificate).
  7. Yes, but it is located in the Caribbean. Therefore covered by the statement.
  8. No worries. Royal should make sure all the ship names start with a different letter. Just to make is less confusing! You are correct, the Doghouse is just meat-based offerings, as far as I know. You will have no trouble getting veggie burgers in the Windjammer. There might be one on the room service menu too. Also, there is always a vegan menu in the Main Dining Room that you can ask for!
  9. We had it last July on Jewel. Hopefully things will sort themselves out!
  10. Ben Gurion is a big airport that all the major lines service. For me, I'd go United on that crazy-long flight from TLV to San Fransico in business class (and then the short hop up to Seattle), but that's mostly because I tend to collect UA miles. As for a bit more luxe experience, I enjoy long-haul flight on KLM or Air France. Pretty much any non-US carrier (that isn't a discount airline) is going to give you a nicer time. IMO. If you want really fancy, fly from TLV to Dubai and then hop on Emirates to Seattle!
  11. I have sailed to Alaska three times, twice with HAL and once with Royal, all pre-pandemic. HAL is going to give you a much more intimate ship experience. It will more directly compare to sailing to Alaska on a Vision or Radiance class ship as far as size goes, and that only with HAL's largest ships. While I think the demographic of folks choosing an Alaska cruise skews older than the Caribbean, I feel like the average age on HAL was higher than Royal. It will definitely impact the energy at the activities. If you enjoy some of the more "classic" things about cruising, such as dressing up for formal night, you might enjoy the HAL cruise.
  12. Pre-covid it ran $22-$26, depending on the ship. I haven't seen a price lately. But it is usually a few dollars less than Chops.
  13. Pretty much always on sea days, sometimes on port days. It may or may not be used one day for the Taste of Royal as well. I have only once ever seen Giovanni's open for purchase ahead in the Cruise Planner at lunchtime, so it is not unusual for it to not be listed.
  14. We walked ourselves to all the places in Nassau both of you are mentioning and had no issue. Daylight, plus lots of people out and about, doing their people thing. We did not feel unsafe at all!
  15. It's announced at the C&A loyalty event on each sailing, or you can ask at the Loyalty Desk any time after the first day.
  16. Buy the single package of two devices. It doesn't matter what devices they are, just so long as you don't try to log in with more than two at a time.
