I had full intended to book. Even was ready to accept a more elevated price. However it was even WAY above what we were willing. And being from Canada it's being almost 3k more with the exchange.

I mentioned Star to hubby as an option for summer 2025 and he DID NOT shoot me down. I consider that a yes in my book. Wondering when it will start to sail.

Ugh! I assumed prices of things would stay the same and we lost a great deal. The refreshment package for icon in April no longer gives the 50% for kids under 12 discount.

Yes she is 8. We have never gotten her this package before but at that price it seemed like a nice surprise for her. I am aware she certainly doesn't need it at her age but its fun and basically 2 mocktails and it pays for itself.

I nabbed the refreshment package for my daughter for 17.99 a day! It advertised 22.99 but in cart said "kids discount 50% off" and dropped to 17.99

For anyone who has sailed RCCL and Celebrity are the check in processes similar? We usually sail RC but will be trying a celebrity sailing to Norway next summer. Im so used to Royals check in process but have no idea how celebrity works.

We will absolutely not be spending any extra $$ for esplanade seating! Lol. Um wondering if the MDR new years extra were anything interesting .

Looking for any insight anyone has for New years eve sailings. What kind of "special" menu was offered etc? We start our cruise on dec 31st and wondering if they automatically make it dress your best or anything like that.

so is chops and giovannis only available for the holiday dinners if you paid the extra on top of extra charge? or can you visit and just not get the extra wine or lobster or canape or whatever?

We are sailing on odyssey for new years this year. I see they offer a "holiday dinner" option at Giovannis and Chops for dec 31st. Will the restauarnt be closed to only serve people who purchased the holiday dinner? Or if you paid for reg chops meal for example can you dine on the holidays without the extras you get for the holiday package?

For people who had individual restaurants available but no packages….have any popped up by now?

I say people should wear what makes them happy / comfortable and ENJOY your fabulous vacation. that being said be aware that staff may not call them by proper pronouns ( if that may bother them). My sister is married to my fantastic sister in law and dresses more masculine. She was constantly called “ SIR” and was even asked to cover up in the dining room when she had a tank top on and I was wearing a far more revealing outfit. Seems men and women have different clothing rules and quickly gave her the male rules. She took it in stride but I know it started to get old quickly. I lost count how many times I said “ not sir!”

I've cruised a lot with Royal and everything has always been available on CP far in advance. We cruise dec on Odyssey and April on Icon. Oddly icon has dining packages available to book but odyssey still says "amazing experiences coming soon". Any rhyme or reason why its still not available but is for a ship not yet built? And any guess when it will pop up?

And your 50$ OBC was still there right?

Wondering if it will be easier to click cancel booking...

did you discuss with resolutions? We had 2 people yesterday tell us the price was in fact lower then appeared on the site and that the system was still glitchy. Told me to keep an eye on the site and if not call back. ( it had showed 62.99 DBP in the morning before the crash and 72.99 after) still showing 72.99 today but I plan on calling back if not rectified soon.

Our DBP was 62.99 this am...crashed at purchase and now 72.99. However I have screenshots of the price...wondering if they will honor them
