It probably did cause a lot of people who never seriously thought about cruising give it a second look. I thought the show was a bit silly and contrived but have seen most of the episodes and some more than once.

I have never been on a booked excursion anywhere that led me to believe it was being operated by the cruise line and not the provider.

Had no problems with taking water aboard the Anthem in August. FYI: The Coke Freestyle machines that are part of a drink package will dispense ice to anyone into any container. I washed out a coin bucket from the casino and used it as an ice bucket. Crew members who saw me chuckled.
