The next closest hotel to the cruise pier in San Pedro is the Crown Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel. This is a nicer hotel than the Studio 6, but in the same neighborhood.

We're staying at Crown Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel for this cruise. Is it a safe area? Is there places to eat at close enough to walk to and safe enough to walk to?

  2. I’m back for more help. We’re cruising out of Denmark next month and this will be our first cruise out of somewhere other than the US. Also this will be our first international flight. So my question is, What are some things that are different about international flights and cruising out of another country that you wish you knew on your first time?

  3. Since the Windjammer is closed for dinner has the dress code in the main dining been relaxed any? Not asking can I "be a Rebel" and go against dress code recommendations, but has RCI or any one ship (specifically Allure) actually announced a temporary Dress Code relax.   Also where are some other places to eat every night that doesn't cost $100 a couple? Thank You

I've booked cruise and checking Cruise Planner from time to time waiting for good internet deal to come up.

Is there a way (like notifications) to be alerted when  new deals are available?

Also what is a good deal for Voom (4 devices)?  Currently is $37 per day (on Ovation of the Seas).

    thanks

I just now purchased surf & stream 4 devices for $26.99 a day. on Ovation  Best i've seen in a while.

I’m a NEWBIE, our first cruise is in Feb 2019, Freedom to Southern Caribbean.

What is a TENDER port? Or Tendering??

    Sorry for the the ignorance

It’s where the ship anchors out from the port and you take a “tender” (smaller boat) into the port. There will be several coming and going from ship to shore all day.

...and nobody else travelling with him was kind enough to offer to get some for him while they were out and about in port?

    That's not so cool either...

I think you will find that all types of underwear are available in Spain... from boxers to g-strings.

There is no reason he had to wash a single item every day for 12 days... other than stupidity.

I'll bet your just a real joy to be stuck on a cruise ship with aren't you.
