  1. Lanyards that guests wear? People just buy those themselves. I'm not aware of any meaning.
  2. Approximate times in all ports can be found on your booking invoice. It can always change last minute due to a variety of factors.
  3. Having just cruised on a non-Royal line, I definitely noticed a difference. Trying to skip dessert on Royal is kind of a battle. The waiters always seem so hurt. They try to encourage you. On the other line, they'd ask if you wanted dessert, and if you said no, they said "thank you" and moved along. I really liked this. Granted, it was one of the only things I liked better, but it was nice to not have the "battle". But, at least with Royal if you have too much food but would like to just take some back to your room for later, they'll allow it. The other line would not allow it at all. So basically you have to adopt @Pattycruise's wise advice - just do you and let the matter slide. But enjoy!
  4. But the new Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar is excellent. Wish it was on more ships!
  5. It could drop in price. It could also increase in price and not come back down. And it could completely sell out. Your best bet, if you really want to go, is to buy it now, and just watch for price drops. If the price drops, you can cancel and repurchase at the lower price.
  6. I can't find the FB page for this sailing (it's probably there, I'm just dumb), so I'll ask here - where are people hoteling (yes, that's an actual verb) pre-cruise?
  7. No, none of them come with included beverage packages. The only suites that come with that are Star Class suites on Quantum and Oasis-class ships.
  8. You will be able to text/call etc with Voom. There's no need to add AT&T Cruise package.
  9. Yes, as long as one person from the original reservation remains on the reservation. Just give your travel agent a call.
  10. Yep, they sure are.
  11. I really have to put some effort into opening the unlocked balcony door. They do not slide easily, in my experience.
  12. It will say on your booking confirmation. There are other ways, but that's probably the easiest.
  13. I searched "adventure of the seas grand suite 1 bedroom" on YouTube to find videos of the suites. I'm not sure how 5 adults would fit into a sleeper sofa and a king bed. Not ever having had children, I wouldn't know how many kids can fit onto a sleeper sofa. I assume 3-4 if you stack them like spoons in a drawer.
  14. You will just go to any specialty restaurant (or the specialty restaurant reservation kiosk) on the first day when you board the ship and you can choose/change the restaurant/dining time. No reservations times can be made by you prior to boarding the ship. It's always one of the first things we do when we get onto the ship.
  15. Did you speak to the head waiter at the time?
  16. It'll vary from ship to ship and sailing to sailing. Your best bet is to find a good travel agent and have them figure out what'll work best for you.
  17. They offer first responder discounts, but they never override whatever sale or promo they have going on.
  18. I love sloths. But I love them enough to not participating in stressing them out by being held by multiple people. I spent two decades as a zookeeper and a close friend did sloth rehab in Costa Rica and confirms that they do best when appreciated visually as opposed to tactically.
  19. In my experience, your luggage is stored in the bus and will be given to you when you are dropped off at the airport. You'd then have to find transportation to your hotel from the airport. That's just my experience with them.
  20. Yes. You can also book it ahead of time on the Cruise Planner. When you redeem the points and choose OBC, just call Bank of America (the number is available on the website) and ask them to apply it immediately. Otherwise it won't show up for you until shortly before your sailing and by that time the best shore excursions may have sold out.
  21. Yes, as long as you choose to use them as On Board Credit.
  22. Just go to the home page of this website https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/ and fill out the big yellow form. Alternatively you could go directly to their website: https://mei-travel.com/
  23. No, you can use one package and just take turns using it. You'll just get one log in/password. Enjoy!
  24. For everyone in the stateroom regardless of age.
  25. @skwak or @Jose Oliveira- can you please report if Mariner is using the new menus on board when you get there? Thanks!
