  1. You can attach a credit card to the account online. Once thats attached they will charge this card at the end of your cruise for any charges you have made with your Sea Pass card.
  2. Yikes, I guess this happens a lot. More than I would have thought anyway
  3. Good man, do this myself and then... "borrow" a document folder so I have all my hard copies together, in order and right where I can grab them when I need them. I'm a delight to travel with lol
  4. The Wife and I where on board Independence back in October for a week away and had a great time. Towards the end of the week it dawned on me that this was my first cruise as Platinum and I vaguely remembered reading about a Pin you get. So I enquired at GS to see how that worked, was I ment to get it on board or does it get sent out to me later. Girl on the desk mentioned that I should have gotten it in the Stateroom when I arrived but that they didn't have any Pins on board. Bit of a shame but I was having a great cruise and it didn't really bother me so I went off and enjoyed the last couple of days. Last week I got a strange text message saying they where FedEx and that my delivery would be made on the 15th, "if you would like to see the status of the order click this link". I hadn't ordered anything and wasn't expecting anything so I ignored it as a phishing attempt. I don't like clicking links I don't know from emails or messages. Yesterday I got another text to say that the delivery would be today (yesterday). At this point I'm thinking the messages are legit and start getting "The Fear". What the hell did I order and why cant I remember it? Got home yesterday and opened up the envelope and inside was my Pin. Was really surprised. Girl at the desk must have noted something on my account and sent it off. That was pretty cool of her and I'm sorry that I don't remember her name now, it was a throwaway conversation and I didn't really expect anything to be done after I wasn't overly fussed about chasing it.
  5. Two monitors ? One for work, one for the Blog and checking prices I am now in the "we'll see" stage regarding our next cruise with the wife
  6. My phone case has 5 slots that you can put credit cards in, I'm still a bit wary about having credit cards near my phone so they never got used. Now my sea pass cards go in there in a rating system and I see them and think back fondly...... until the next cruise :)
  7. Absolutely can. The check in times are just advisory time but you can show up as soon as check in opens and they will get you put though. You can head in to get checked in as soon as they open so about 10:30am - 11am Means you can get on board earlier and start that hard process of relaxing :)
  8. Thanks man, I had tried that but had no joy. ..........I've just worked out the issue. So the Wifes account was made before we where married so under her maiden name, we created her new account under her married name and that seemed to be where the issue was. On a whim I updated her surname back to her maiden name and tried to add the C&A number again, no issues. Bad error text, number wasn't at fault at all Thanks @J_Keeble, ones to keep in my back pocket if I run in to issues again
  9. Hey guys, I'm a little stuck at the moment. When the C&A page all changed and you had to create new accounts I only did this for myself, this brought over my C&A number and all was good. I'm now trying to do this for my wife, was able to create the new account ok but when we attempt to add in the C&A number it comes up as 'We were unable to locate this member number, so please try again.' I've check our documentation from previous cruises and the number is correct, has anyone else had an issue like this? If so how did you get around it? Cheers in Advance
  10. Was on Indy a couple of weeks back there so hoping I can remember (and that they keep the same) So there was 1 as you where first boarding the ship, then in the evenings always at least 1 on Deck 5 (outside the entrance to the MDR) on a couple of nights there was a 2nd that was positioned on the light bridge. On Deck 4 there where 2 stations set up, one by the spiral stairs and one by the found cut out of a car. Deck 3 had 1 station which was the white background so quite popular. Each of the Photographers also mentioned to us about the more personal set up in the Studio which was more close up photos. You need an appointment for that one but the Photographers where able to set it up while you where with them. The Photo stations opened at 5:30 and then closed for an hour at 6:30 before opening up again Other than these there were Photo stations at each of the ports when we where getting off and there where photographers that walked around the MDR and a couple of other venues at times (Remember them in the Schooner bar one night) Hope that helps you out
  11. Fantastic, I'll get on that one Cheers guys
  12. Is that true? I need to check this out, I'm just shy of Emerald but my Wife is still gold. After out first Cruise together she started at the bottom. Should she have matched my Platinum tier?
  13. My Dad got this one a while back when he was going away https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zacro-Universal-Waterproof-Pouch-Waist/dp/B01CZXZXQU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1540889212&sr=8-4&keywords=waterproof+pouch Not a lanyard but has a waist strap and can be tucked in to shorts and what not
  14. There is always the possibility that they will put the Drinks card on sale during your sailing. That may be enough to cover the drinks that your wife would have. Though there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as to which sailings they tend to sell them on so could be pot luck.
  15. Ahh nice one. UK site isn't showing a warning like that
  16. I'm getting an Internal Server Error, I'm probably just seeing the error that the screen you posted is hiding in the background. When I first logged in it did tell me that my C&A details where not viewable at this time. Guess during the "Maintenance" the other night someone forgot to switch something back on
  17. This has reminded me of this story. The first cruise I was on on Independence there where 2 groups of people that where getting a bit drunk by the pool bar, at one point the bar man had to run off to grab some supplies, guy was on his own in there, so 2 members of the groups jumped the bar, helped themselves to drinks and then walked off as if nothing had happened. The next part of the story I head from one of the cabin attendants the next day, so early the next morning we docked in Vigo, Security marched down to the staterooms, blatered on the doors till they opened up and escorted them all off the ship, hangovers and all. Apparently the screaming very quickly turned to begging. Really don't understand the thinking of some people at times
  18. 4 for 4 is really unlucky. We've only had 1 excursion cancelled on us but it was cancelled about a month before the cruise. Reason they gave us at the time was "Seasonal Weather Conditions" but when the day came the sun was splitting the trees. Shame but I can understand why they did it, if 90% of the time around that date its raining and blowing a gale then its probably for the best
