Ha ha... tables in the MDR are really very close to each other.

May I ask what people here feel or think about taking pictures of food/meals at dinner time? I do it a lot and I vacillate between not caring what others think and being embarrassed about it. Oh, I also need to mention that I usually dine alone.

Gym Equipment on the Serenade
PG Cruiser replied to PG Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I agree -
Hi all! Anyone here know what gym equipment they have on the Serenade? I'm asking my trainer for some workouts I can do onboard. I remember seeing free weights and treadmills on the Harmony, I wonder what they have on the Serenade? Looks like the gym is not a very popular place for periscopes and blogs... ha ha

This is exactly the reason for my rant.

Air travel for Open Loop Itineraries
PG Cruiser replied to PG Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
As always, I get the precise information I need from you -
I've gotten this offer in several emails over the past few weeks. When I click the link and sign in to Cruise Planner, I cannot find the offer. I know that these offers are not offered on ALL sailings especially on Thanksgiving sailings like the one I'm going on. But having received emails with my specific cruise information and offers attached to them, I naturally assumed that the offer was available for my cruise. In this age of (aggressively) targeted ads, one would expect a big company like RCCL to have the capability to filter and target their ad campaigns a little better. Note: I guess this is both a rant and a request for clarification of this matter.

I'm looking at open loop itineraries with the mainland USA. What are good options for air travel to and from the ports? How can I get the best fares?

Is Chef’s Table included in the Ultimate Dining Package?
PG Cruiser replied to Mike P's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
What happens How's the Chef's Table experience? Are participants seated together at a long table? I'm sailing solo and I want to book it for my birthday. If I don't drink, would it still worth it? -
Pier check in without entire party
PG Cruiser replied to melski94's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I do not know with RCCL, but when I sailed on the Disney Magic, the three of us in the room came from different places. Each of us checked in at different times. I checked in last, maybe even the very last to board on that sailing. My roommates were already having fun on board while I was still driving to the port. -
Sushi Class and Bottomless Galley Brunch
PG Cruiser replied to PG Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
She can ask for more vegetables to put into her sushi and hand roll. I did not eat my finished product at the venue. I ate it in my stateroom that night. So I don't think they will keep her from participating even if she may not eat her finished product. -
I was not sure what you meant by "soft drinks". I thought maybe you meant a broader category of non-alcoholic beverages.
-
Just to clarify, soda is not included in the complimentary beverages in the dining rooms.

Same here. I factor in everything before agreeing to the new price. I lost a $50 OBC when I had my November 2018 cruise repriced but it was a $180 price decrease. I told the agent, "That's a no-brainer" When I called RCCL last year to check out repricing options for my 2017 Harmony sailing, the agent offered me a balcony stateroom that was priced lower than my oceanview room. Guess what my answer was ... "That's a no-brainer"
