Baked Alaska

I was checking in on our Cruise Planner calendar for our Alaska Radiance sailing when I noticed we have a trout fishing excursion that had a time change, of sorts. We scheduled an excursion that was offered only at one time, 9:30 AM and it was purchased at roughly $40 less than today's pricing during the Black Friday Sale. Now I notice that there are TWO offerings for this excursion, one at 7 AM (this is the time RCL took the liberty of placing us) and one at 11:30 AM (our new preferred time). I modified the date/time portion of the excursion so that we would be going on the 11:30 AM offering. The confirmation page showed that the first one had been cancelled and the new time was confirmed. There was no charge for the difference (to today's pricing). SUCCESS!! HOWEVER! It does not show any change in our Cruise Planner calendar and I have not received a confirmation email (normally, I receive those even before the page refreshes). Any ideas? Do I need to call? Is it a lost cause?

HI all. We reserved the Thermal Suite Couples Pass Week in the Cruise Planner, and chose a time. I didn't put any thought into the time I chose, as I had read that they don't go by those reserved times. And, indeed, it shows "At Your Leisure" in my cruise calendar. I've seen posts as recent as Nov 2018 that says they ARE going by the 15 minute increments. Need some clarification. I'm wondering if I need to change our time, afterall.

I haven't seen much comment on these message boards regarding Samba. We have the Ultimate Dining package for our July Radiance sailing. What are your impressions if you've dined at this specialty dining restaurant?

Where is this offered? Cruise planner? Alaska? Vancouver? Bayonne?

Never get them. Do get Celebrity, but never RCL.

Where do you reserve this? Didnt see it on the cruise planner. Thinking we may prefer it to the train.

When we are in Skagway next summer, we are scheduled for two excursions for the day: the White Pass train from 8:10 to 11:25 AM and then Ziplining from 1:40 to 5:40 PM. Any ideas as to meeting places? Since we will already be off the ship, do they have a meeting place on pier for those folks? Given that there are roughly 1:45 minutes of lunch time in there, do we eat lunch in port or go back to the ship? pinging @KJ1231 @twangster
