  1. The ferry from the island (where the cruise ships dock) to the mainland. Most (not all) excursions happen on the mainland and the vomit comit must be used (unless you have a private pilot hired to take you). There are plenty of youtube videos showing the ferry in all its glory.
  2. I'm even MORE excited! Got our like for like cabin! It hasn't been priced protected yet, but @Sharlais on it! This is why a TA is worth their weight in Gold or should I say Pinacle bricks! Can't wait!!
  3. Do you think that Nachi Cocum will have the same award this time of year? God bless mother nature!
  4. I can tell I am in good company in this thread! Yeh, that insurance commercial with Dr. Rick. . .
  5. Yes, this is what we are planning, too! Thanks Barbey!
  6. @737 Captainand @Kellie Travel Nope. It is still a no go. Even concierge made reservations do not show up. . . on either platform! And forget if you want to see any of your Personal Activities on the app. Also, have you noticed that if you create a personal activity for the same time for more than one night it will bugger up the calendar BIG TIME? For example, say you want to create a personal activity for Izumi at 6pm for nights 2, 4, and 6. It will put all of you on one of the nights. So, three of person A, three of person B, and so on. My party of three goes to nine people! Doesn't make sense. To get around it, change the title of the personal activity ever so slightly: Izumi, dinner at Izumi, Izumis. Overall, poor to no integration IMO. D-
  7. uh HUH. Okay, scratch that idea! I'll give him a couple years. Thanks @AlmondFarmerand @Matt.
  8. Like Andrew Dice Clay or like George Carlin?
  9. The Adult Comedy show on Oasis. . . how adult? Minimum age? 17 year old? No? Just wondering what makes it "adult." Language, sex?
  10. Oasis NYE, Dec 26 embarkation had a largw number of cabins and suites come available in the last 36 or so hours.
  11. I haven't heard from @Sharlaon ours yet. We are currently in a Crown Loft. I have a feeling that we will be in a Crown Loft on Wonder, too.
  12. I just received this email. It looks the same as the OPs. Maybe they've changed it up since everyone must be masked up inside?? We can't wait to have you onboard Oasis of the Seas in about a week! We know you've been preparing for your cruise and since sailing requirements and protocols have evolved over time, it's important that you have everything you need so that when you arrive for boarding, it's a breeze. Please note: Failure to meet the below requirements will unfortunately result in a denial of boarding. Check out your to-do list & checklist for sailings departing from a U.S. homeport below. Your To-Do List Check your entry requirements: Click here for guests flying into the U.S. from overseas. Regardless of vaccination status, you'll require a negative COVID-19 result prior to flying into the U.S. Get tested pre-cruise: All guests 2 years and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result (PCR or antigen) in order to sail. Guests 2 - 11 years old: test must be taken no more than 3 days prior to sailing — but not on departure day. Guests 12 and older: test must be taken no more than 2 days prior to your sailing's departure date. Proper documentation like, printed negative test results or negative test results presented on your phone from an accredited laboratory (no doctor's notes) are required to sail. All costs for this test are the guest's responsibility and must be done on their own, not at the terminal. Submit your vaccination proof: When you go to our app to complete your online check-in, be sure to also submit proof of vaccination. That way, you’ll have a smoother boarding experience. Note: Please still bring your proof of vaccination with you for your sailing. Schedule your boarding day test: At the terminal, unvaccinated guests 2 to 11 years old, are required to take a complimentary PCR test (this is in addition to the pre-cruise test) for COVID-19 when checking in for their cruise. Registration details were already sent to you via email. Please check your email and register for your child/children today! If you haven’t received this email, please call us at 1-800-256-6649. Later this week: Fill out your health questionnaire on our app, when you receive it the day before your sailing. Documents to Bring Passport Book or Passport Card Valid for at least six months after your sailing's return date, is strongly recommended. If you do not have a Passport, you may present a state-certified U.S. Birth Certificate (not a "baby feet" hospital certificate or baptismal paper). Guests age 16 and older that present a Birth Certificate will also need to provide a valid Driver's License or picture ID issued by the government. A negative PCR or antigen test for COVID-19 Taken no more than 3 days prior to sailing, but not on departure day, for guests 2 - 11 years old and taken no more than 2 days prior to sailing for guest 12 and older. COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card For all guests 12 years and older. Upload your vaccination card ahead of time in our app. As a reminder, to be considered fully-vaccinated, the last dose of your vaccine series must be administered 14 days or more prior to sailing. Reminder! International guests must check their visa/ESTA requirements before traveling to the US.
  13. We are going to Nachi Cocum in Cozumel to avoid the vomit comit (after our other excursion was cancelled).
  14. Just curious, have you checked the guidelines on your safe sailing page in the last 24 hours since this email went out?
  15. From the title (please don't change it), I can tell you had a good time and the drinks were tasty!
  16. Hello everyone. When Royal changes the ship (i.e., Harmony to Wonder), rather than the customer doing so, do they retain the cruise planner purchases? It would make sense if the customer makes the changes that the purchases are refunded, but I'm wondering what happens when Royal changes the ship, with everything else being the same.
  17. Onboard the Ship Mask Guidance Here's our current guidance for facial coverings for all guests (except those under age 2, who do not need to wear a mask at any time). Due to the latest public health evaluation, masks are required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status, at all times indoors except while eating or drinking. This includes at venues reserved for vaccinated guests only. Note that this policy is in place for all sailings departing before January 5, 2022, at which point it will be reevaluated. Masks are NOT required to be worn: In open-air areas of the ship, unless you are in a crowded setting. In the pool or any activity where they may become wet. In your stateroom when you are with your traveling party. While visiting our private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay, unless you are in a crowded setting. By any guest under the age of 2. Masks ARE required to be worn: While indoors in public areas of the ship, unless seated and actively eating or drinking. While visiting public ports of call, where local regulations may require them. Dining All dining areas will feature spaced, sanitized seating. Nearly all restaurants and cafes will be available to all guests, though a select few specialty restaurants may be reserved for vaccinated guests only. In the Main Dining Room, which spans multiple decks, we will designate areas for parents and unvaccinated kids, and areas for vaccinated parties only. My Time Dining will not be available to parties that include unvaccinated guests. If you prefer a buffet, Windjammer will be open to everyone for breakfast and lunch, and the food will be served by our crew. We recommend that you make dining reservations via Cruise Planner before your cruise or using the Royal Caribbean app onboard. Entertainment Theaters and activity venues will offer spaced seating and more showtimes. Some activities, showtimes, or seating areas will be reserved for vaccinated guests only. Be sure to make show reservations once onboard using the Royal Caribbean app. Adventure Ocean Youth Program Reservations Our award-winning Adventure Ocean youth program is looking forward to welcoming your young explorers. In order to plan for a healthy experience for every child, we ask that you make a reservation before bringing your child to Adventure Ocean. Stop by Adventure Ocean on boarding day to reserve time throughout your cruise. Program capacity may be limited on certain sailings during peak hours, in order to preserve social distancing.
  18. WOWZERS!! I just looked at the available cabins for our sailing (NYE on Oasis). A LOT have opened up since yesterday. I count 11 suites. 10 Junior and one 1bdr AT. Lots of balcony and inside.
  19. We received the same email from Royal for our Oasis NYE cruise. We are discussing this tonight. Agree with you that they should also have to honor that 48 hour window, as well. Granted the Fine Print blah blah blah.
