  1. I booked my cruise for October of this year back in April 2018, so they offered us $75 OBC. It was originally $25 OBC, I did book it during a WOW sale though.
  2. Phew! Thanks everyone, I was afraid I was going to be stuck using it for that. I'm hoping to use it on some merch and maybe a johnny rockets or izumi visit
  3. Hello All, I realized today that we have $75 OBC and everytime I look at the cruise planner, the price that is shown is showed with the OBC taken off. If we wanted to be able to book the drink package without using our OBC (I want to get a few merch items on board). How would I go about doing that? Do I need to call Royal? Do I need to have my TA call Royal? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
  4. I called the bags to go last week, $8/bag per day open from 9:30-5pm daily
  5. I agree on Mariner. The pools and hot tubs were so filled even on embarkation day that we never had a chance to enjoy them!
  6. Yes, and when I say a "easy morning" I still mean being at breakfast by 6-6:30 a.m.
  7. Mariner of the Seas Best: Skypad... enough said Worst: Lunch in the main dining room (the desserts were subpar and not refreshed when they ran low), also the Creme Brulee (it didnt have the hard shell on top)
  8. How about take a photo at the top of the Abyss? Or a take a photo on the carosuel (I think thats on Harmony)
  9. My sailing is still roughly 8 months also, and I haven't seen any deals either unfortunately.
  10. I would say make sure your luggage tags are on and you have some cash to tip them for their work. I haven't directly been to port everglades (not yet at least), but most ports are set up so people don't have to haul their luggage for miles
  11. What you could also do, would be drop the checked luggage off with the porters, and then you and your wife take the car back and shuttle back to the port with just your carry on items
  12. Definitely makes sense. I'm just curious of everyone's reason, not trying to judge.
  13. Can someone explain to me the reason behind early morning flights after a cruise? I get if you have to take like 2-3 connections, but if not, why not enjoy the "last" day of your vacation. I know on debarkation day, I am not ready to go back to reality...
  14. I wish I knew it existed, I would've totally flown into FLL and then gone down that way from Orlando instead of driving it ?
  15. Have you taken the tri-rail? What do you think'?
  16. Did you know there is a train that goes from Miami to FLL? its like $3.75/person each way. It might be worth looking into
  17. My boyfriend are having this conversation now about our Adventure cruise in October. We tend to like to take it easy on debarkation, so we are actually planning a 5pm departure, thankfully its a direct flight for us. My mom was on the Brilliance cruise that @twangster was on last week, and I personally couldn't justify taking a risk.
  18. Thanks for sharing! Glad you might your flight! Did Southwest give you any troubles with checking the bag so close to departure?
  19. Lol, yes that is what I meant. How would I find out if a ship offers "Luggage Valet"? Also Yes on southwest fare, it looks like it will be $130 round trip pp for our trip in october. Its so amazing.
  20. Thanks Matt, I wasn't positive. Also, does RCI normally have curbside baggage people who will check your bag straight to the airline? I know resorts at WDW do it, I just wasnt sure.
  21. Yea, I'm not too worried about it. The good thing is that we won't be packing clothes in our carry on, unless its a hoodie or bathing suit. Since its an 8-night trip. It's funny I did the math today figuring out the prices for each of the different possibilities travel wise and the flights ended up being nearly a $100 cheaper and saves us 3-4 hours in a car.
