Yup 2 weeks ago I was sitting at a picnic table in Maine waiting for the lobster I picked out right out of the trap to be steamed. Doesn’t get better or fresher than that!!!

I have to agree with this. Do not order a regional specialty from your "region". I have no doubt I would love BBQ that most who live in good BBQ areas wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I live in New England and would never order lobster/clam chowder/fried clams/steamers anywhere else, just wouldn't be the same. I'm guessing I'd find the frozen lobster tails on the cruise pretty inedible.

We will be driving to Winter Park with our daughter who lives there & is joining us on the cruise. Hoping to get a small disney fix at Disney Springs on the way. I dont expect to be awake let alone off the ship by 7:30!!

so where are we reunited with our bags if we send them off on their own? And how late can we disembark? This is fascinating stuff!!!

So if we elect to take our own luggage, where do we leave it while we eat and take a lap? I assume we will have to be out of our stateroom.

I have very vague recollections of trying to wrangle too much luggage to the bus (back when RCCL provided transportation to your port!) when we went to Bermuda in 2002 but have no memory of Customs. I am hoping for 1 suitcase each this time for 3 capable adults with perhaps a couple of carry ons that can be attached to the rolling suitcases. We are in a Suite and our flight isn't until 7:30 that evening out of MCO so I'm thinking there is absolutely no reason to rush off the ship?

Just because I need things to obsess about, I am now curious about going through Customs at the end of our cruise. We are on Majesty out of Tampa going to Cozumel and Costa Maya. I expect to buy souvenirs for my grand kids and probably a couple of bottles of tequila, probably no more than $500 total altho I won't know for sure until I see the shops!!! Can someone walk me (not literally) through Customs? Forms to fill out? Bags to be gone through?? Sniffing dogs??? Strip searches???? My imagination is running wild!!!!

I have a countdown on mine. If I log in through the RCCL home page, its there. But if I go straight to the planner, its not.

Can you all explain these preferences to me? I cruised a hundred years ago so I am a C & A member but have no clue about preferences or the like. Thanks!!

I emailed C&A several weeks ago with an issue. Got an auto response the next day promising a quick answer but have heard nothing yet. Emailed again a few days ago but no response at all to that one.

I have already reached out to our hotel to inquire about late check out and my daughter will have her car there so I GUESS we could find something to occupy ourselves for a few more hours. Perspective is everything!

Yes, you are probably right but I am really bummed that they are doing this (and I realize they may not have a choice). It really throws a monkey wrench in that first day as we will have to figure out something to do between checking out of the hotel and boarding now. AND the Deluxe Drink package is practically worthless on that day. I have contacted C & A but have not yet received a reply. Just trying to wrap my head around our now 8pm sailing on Majesty. If we cannot begin to board until 4:30, what time might our cabins be ready? Perhaps immediately as housekeeping is probably not involved in the “systems maintenance”? How are we gonna do dinner? Our MTD reservation is for 6:30 so maybe the waitstaff will keep our food warm whilst we hustle out to the muster drill right in the middle??? Luggage delivery?

So 18-20% of AI price to our main server and then a few bucks if we get drinks from the bar? Would that be appropriate?

So will we have one server for the day?

We’ve pretty much decided on Nachi for our beach club day as Maya Chan has a private event on our Costa Maya day. What is Nachi’s tipping policy? Is there one or do we tip as we go? And any reviews if their food? thanks!!

Where can I get them? And can they be ordered in MDR?
