  1. I'm always about £550 pp from Aberdeen to Heathrow then onto NYC. Thats Economy class, my wifes only 5ft so she has plenty legroom no matter the seat
  2. Unless your flying Icelandair into Glasgow or Edinburgh forget it! Far better and cheaper flying into Heathrow then getting a connection to Scotland.
  3. As things stand right now If flying from US to UK no test required to enter UK and no isolation. Unsure of entry requirements for Italy as you are not planning on travelling direct. You do not have to test to fly out of UK however you may need to enter Italy. I would check Italian Government website for correct details. For Boarding ship tests are required no more than 2 days prior to sailing. Tests available at all airports, some European countries such as Denmark offer free tests even for tourists. Ports of call should be ok with no further testing required. For return to US you will need to follow US guildlines for travelling back home. Home tests are not allowed for Boarding ship, tests must be supervised either by webcam or in person.
  4. That depends on where you are in this big old world. US = no Europe = Yes
  5. There is no right or wrong answer! Its what you decide to do. There will be people who leave very little because they prepay others will say they leave $1000 per person in cabin. Leave what you feel comfortable and happy with
  6. If you read on in that article the following section contradicts the above which confuses it a bit lol Guests who are not up to date will need to complete additional testing before disembarking in some European ports and may have additional restrictions while ashore.
  7. I checked on BA website and it says no tests needed to enter Denmark so just need 1 for boarding. At least mask rules are clear Onboard the Ship Mask Guidance Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests. We expect unvaccinated children to continue wearing masks indoors and in crowded settings. Masks are required for all children age 2 and older while at the Adventure Ocean youth program. Guests under 2 do not have to wear a mask at any time.
  8. I received protocols for my Baltic cruise and im even more confused. According to protocol i need a test to fly into Denmark which im sure i dont and i have to test 3 days prior to boarding in BARBADOS
  9. If you look closely some still have tags on them, big market in UK for Adidas trainers even used ones. Can buy a pair for £80 on monday and put them on ebay for double that on the Tuesday. Some well worn pairs dating back 20 yrs can sell for £300 + depending on where they were made and if serial numbers are consecutive. Also photo is old, im up to 23 pairs now. I have shipped limited edition trainers and clothes in from abroad..thats how bad i am! Drives my wife nuts lol
  10. Every other post on this thread can be taken as tongue in cheek! Things we may find funny, annoying or just plain stupid but most of us would just laugh them off as its not really anything to do with us how people look or behave. However your post is probably the one that everyone would stand up and say something given previous tragic events.
  11. Thanks for that image! Now its imbedded in my head for the night
  12. People wearing socks with sandles or knee length socks with shorts!!! No excuse for such behaviour lol Love my clothes and my trainers as photo shows
  13. Flown into both Newark and JFK from the UK and without doubt Newark is your best option. Cost of getting from LGA to Newark isnt cheap add that on to your airfares and there may not be much of a difference
  14. 1 watermelon, sugar, water, yeast and shrinkwrap lol
  15. I have watched a UK TV show about cruising where a ceremony for crew and pasengers ( if they wanted to get involved ) took place when crossing the Equator. Same sort of thing where they were covered in all sorts. If i remember correctly it was an NCL ship
  16. Valley church beach is good, you can also get a massage
  17. Uk NHS vaccine certs had similar issue, i believe for NHS certs they had to be uploaded in a certain order, cant remember how it was done but EU certs may have same issue
  18. Last minute bargain buy before boarding and you have no where to store knives i get! but all the power cables and fans that just beggars belief!
  19. May have thought they were exempt because they are pinnacle
  20. Just like Airlines how your refund is credited is determined by the type of ticket you purchased Non refundable v refundable.
  21. Are you trying to say EVERY part of trash in Haiti comes from Haiti? If you are then thats not only complete garbage pardon the pun but also complete ignorance on your part to the fact waste thrown into the sea anywhere in the world can spend years floating about before it hits a beach somewhere miles away
  22. Hi Jamie It is confusing but would be a lot worse if Boris & Nicola were doing it lol You are 100% correct with the timescales involved however depending on when you fly you may get away with just the 1 test. If you are flying out on the Sat for a Sunday cruise then the test you take in UK should cover you for boarding as well as flight. If you are flying on the Friday then you would need a test while in US to allow you to board, im sure this could be done at Airport on Arrival in US. Not sure where you are flying from in the UK but i noticed that some hotels are now including fit to fly PCR tests in their room rate, the Hilton at terminal 2 heathrow is 1.
