yep! my wife doesn't drink much at all, but anytime she does she has a whole concoction of stuff she takes to avoid feeling like crap the next day. she never goes anywhere without her charcoal pills.

I would put the children in the room with your mother, then you and the hubby can have alone time . But seriously no need to have her pay the double, even if you put the 1 year old in her room but had him/her sleep with you it my be cheaper. Obviously what you feel comfortable from a price stand point could change things. If I could afford it, I would probably do the 2BR suite you mentioned with your family of 4 and mother. But I can almost guarantee that will be significantly more than doing either 2 balcony or a balcony and interior for the 5 of you. You could even do connecting balconies and then you are right there with the kids if need be, and can open up the balcony dividers for more space. You could then also get an interior across the hall if you wanted to be close together. I would use a travel agent and have them price out a few options for you.

I can attest this is the view from the back of the windjammer in case you thought she was trying to pull a fast one on you @OCSC Mike. We ate back there every time we ate at WJ for the amazing views!

I agree. Did a 3 night which was just way too short. I have another booked since it was a casino comp and my wife didn't have enough vacation time left. Most others I have done were 7 night. Also just did my first 8 night and even though it was just 1 extra night, it felt like much more than 1 week.

Super convenient parking there. You can easily drop off luggage and anyone else in the party and then go park the car. We used this lot on our last cruise. It was pretty full, but we were able to find a spot.

For The Book, I would recommend sitting upstairs and in the middle. I think being up instead of on the floor gives you better views of some of the stuff that happens. And be sure to see Showgirls. It was amazing.
