  1. Yes, it will be under dining. No e-mail.
  2. That makes almost as much sense as @WAAAYTOOO having no offers at all. I think stuff like this might make my head explode if I gambled on cruises.
  3. One block for the both of you when the higher person reaches 140 (just like status).
  4. The only time you can order anything a la carte is when they offer a "late night menu" on select nights from like 9pm-12am. It's pretty limited and of course you'd have to want to try something post-9pm. As one of MJ's biggest fans, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for a good sale and trying a full meal. I've seen brunch (my favorite) at 40% off several times in recent months and dinner at 30% off. EDIT: @AshleyDillo beat me to most of that as I was typing.
  5. FYI (for all the new Diamonds), vouchers now reset at 5am, not midnight. They used to reset at midnight but it was changed. Related advice (especially if/when you move up to D+ and get 5 per person): When your significant other barely drinks and might use 1-2 per day on average (mostly on virgin drinks), learn to drink more on cruises if you're not a big drinker at home.
  6. That’s hitting the jackpot in my book (others enjoy Labadee of course). Gimme a crowded PDCC and the superior food!
  7. Who was I kidding, at least she tried it.
  8. That's a pretty good idea. It's not a giant lasagna (but not tiny either). Maybe we'll try a slice to see if my wife likes it. If she'll split it with me I won't mind as much. If the whole thing winds up for me, freezing it might be the way to go.
  9. Still trying to come up with a plan, lol. I think we'll heat up a slice of it tonight so my wife can try it. Hopefully she likes it so I don't wind up eating the whole thing.
  10. RANT: 13 days to go so naturally I'm in pre-cruise diet mode. We're visiting my in laws for Memorial Day so I'll be somewhat bad there but otherwise I planned to be healthy. My wife's good friend's mom loves to cook and occasionally sends food in to her at her school. Usually it's cookies that my wife will eat. What did she decide to make her today? A whole freakin' lasagna which my wife doesn't generally eat! So now I either throw away a homemade lasagna or there goes the diet!
  11. That's funny, on Wonder last month there was a couple seated in the front row for adult comedy with an ASL interpreter. One of the comedians kept messing with the interpreter... basically trying to come up with off the wall, adult-only phrasing just to see how she'd sign it, react, get tripped up, etc. It was really directed at the interpreter, not the couple, but everyone responded just as you described. It was pretty entertaining and neither the interpreter nor the couple seemed remotely offended.
  12. I missed this being posted across the street yesterday. The new CL is open and has windows! The poster said he thought it was about the same size as the old one but feels bigger with the windows.
  13. They do on Utopia (not that this info helps you).
  14. Just saw your post across the street... looks like I repeat myself quite a bit, lol. From what you quoted, I basically said same exact stuff about ELF over there last month.
  15. Yeah, they were only $70 the first time we went... plus the RCBLOG promo for 10% off was in effect. Inflation is everywhere! That said, and you know how I roll (on the cheap), the daybed really makes it a nicer experience between the shade, comfort, and constant food/drink service.
  16. If you see a guy in a Philly sports t-shirt ordering one (and possibly alone b/c my wife won't eat Mexican), good chance that's me, lol. I've been trying to vary my afternoon snacking more but there are very few days I don't stop there at some point.
  17. Which is why the ELF locations that have Cantina Fresca attached are even better. Big fan of the jalapeno pineapple.
  18. No, I asked them before we went back and they said they weren't offering that one (or any other promo) for the foreseeable future. Come on Mr. Sky Class, even I coughed up full price!
  19. Agree with the above... nice place to go for a quick snack in between meals. I prefer stuff you make yourself (tacos, nachos) to the pre-made burritos and quesadillas (although if they are just putting out the quesadillas and they're still hot they're much better).
  20. Icon, Utopia, and Symphony have seafood in WJ for embarkation lunch... that separates them from other ships for that one meal. Haven't sailed her yet, but I have to believe it's Icon (soon to be joined by Star).
  21. And yet, are either of us really surprised? When did you first make reservations? MTD had a similar glitch for my Wonder last month. Several days were missing... until they suddenly weren't and you could book any time you wanted. Constantly checking for day 1's to appear will be fun. Hopefully we don't spend months checking.
  22. Speaking of... Reservations opened today for the family cruise next March with some fun glitches... like it says nothing is available on either day one for either lunch or dinner. Naturally I'm too OCD to wait even though there was no need to book stuff the second I noticed, lol, so we have a bunch of reservations (besides the day 1's) that are subject to change.
  23. Oh the horror! @LandstromCruise is blogging his Utopia B2B that leaves this Friday and I'll be blogging mine that leaves on June 2nd. We'll both be in genpop if you need tips on how the other half survives, lol. There will be some specialty restaurant pics/reviews if nothing else. Thanks for sharing, btw!
