  1. I already know them b/c I keep sailing the same ship but they still appear for my June and July Wonder cruises.
  2. It's official... I am the only person who never sees or hears about any shenanigans when I cruise. Not sure if that's good or bad.
  3. Yep, I always tell people my skin has two tones, pale or red, so I choose pale. Never been in a pool either but I've occasionally spent some time in a Solarium stew pot when not crowded (like staying on the ship during a port day).
  4. Sorry to get off-topic for a second but I don't understand why they built a bar that looks so nice at night in the dark only to close it at 8pm. Nothing wrong with it in the daytime but that colorful canopy looks amazing at night.
  5. Symphony is the only Oasis class ship I'm missing and I'm Wonder's biggest fan but I'd choose based on price, itinerary, ease of travel, etc. You'll likely love either one. I could tell you to pick Wonder b/c I love Mason Jar brunch (and I do) or the redesigned WJ is nice (it is) or the ice show is my favorite (it is) but the above is still my answer.
  6. Yes, yes you will... what a hardship! The only day I didn't go to ELF last week was when were on an excursion on St. Martin from 9-4.
  7. Yep, those are the ones. We did the Skagway glacier dog sledding through Royal b/c the one we had booked during our pre-cruise land portion was cancelled due to weather and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't book anything directly at the last minute. I even figured out the company RC was using but their remaining slots were held by RC. Yeah, there's obviously plenty to do and see in Alaska without doing those types of excursions... but we treated this as a once in a lifetime type trip as a dual-40th b-day celebration and uncharacteristically went all out... then returned to frugally sailing around the Caribbean in interiors like you normally see me talking about, lol.
  8. Nice option there when you leave port as early as 2pm. There's a beach club we went to years ago that I'd go back to but every time we do Western Costa Maya is an early departure and I can't see bothering. Definitely a nice port area.
  9. I didn't notice anything unusual on Wonder last week.
  10. Possible Bezos order? It stays good for a long time but that’s kind of a big bottle.
  11. Yep. I have nothing but amazing memories of our epic Alaska trip but like I said above, I don't want to revisit the prices of stuff, lol. The more expensive excursions we did were likely flying around Denali in a small plane, taking a helicopter up onto a mountain glacier to go dog sledding, and taking a helicopter onto a glacier to hike and ice climb.
  12. I still won't go near the guac. It's just bad on every level... and you know I'm not very critical of my food, lol. I use the Cholula on my tacos and quesadillas. FYI, that's not the chipotle flavor bottle next to your plate in the pic. That one says green pepper. Chipotle says chipotle on it. I love the huge ELF on Wonder so much (and attached tequila bar that makes the same pineapple jalapeno one that you get at Playmakers). Now that I have extra vouchers to kill off I'll have to try some of the flavored frozen ones to take back to the Solarium. I'm sure they're weak but I'm not there to get drunk, as long as they taste good.
  13. Always a good choice in my book! I stopped ordering them in the MDR last week b/c I realized I kept eating them in WJ.
  14. [Insert positive comment here] Too much passing though.
  15. I would if there was a ship with a promenade in Tampa! It’s not that much farther than PC for me plus parking is cheaoer.
  16. Poor timing on my part to speak ill of bridges... I only hate it b/c it keeps anything above Radiance class out of Tampa.
  17. Alaska excursions that involve helicopters or small planes are up there. We didn't book through RC (except one we had to replace last minute due to weather) and I don't want to try to remember what that trip cost, lol, but it was worth it.
  18. Ah, OK, great! That's what I was hoping for. We're definitely going to the West End, just not having a full meal there. Anything stand out? Was the chocolate factory worth it or more of a tourist trap to get you to buy some at the end?
  19. Thanks for sharing. Sorry about the restaurant debacle but glad you enjoyed the tour. Sounds like you basically just drove around the island and saw stuff rather than actual stops? That's definitely part of our plan but we do have a few stops built in. Between frugality and my picky wife, we're not doing a full lunch. I told our tour company (Rony's Tours) to just take me to a quick service type place, food truck, taco stand (whatever they have in Roatan) to try some local fare and move on. We're making an obligatory sloth stop for my wife but also going to Rony's home town and visiting a school there to donate some supplies since my wife is a teacher. We like seeing some of how the locals live when we go somewhere for the first time then after that we do more touristy stuff.
  20. I believe @Lovetocruise2002 has one of these booked and started a thread about it a while back. I'm sure she'll chime in when she sees this and is free.
