We can never be friends. Bacon is supposed to be soft and chewy!

I’d hate to book Carnival only to find out Royal has something worse.

I’d just hate to book Carnival. It’s against my morals

Also, Liberty is only available for the Summer of 2021. A lot of movements  are upon the horizon!

Well One Time In 2021 Symphony Will Be Doing A Rare 8 Night Cruise To Aruba and Curacao.  I Hope In The Following Years Royal Will Do This Route On Oasis Class Ships More Offen.

Empress has to be one of my all time favorite ships. Since her return to Royal, she has developed a following that many adore. Royal is re-introducing port that they (along with many other cruise lines)  that they have not been able to sail to in many years due to port size limitations.  The demographic that sails on these voyages do not need all the thrills that come with Voyager, Freedom, Oasis, and Quantum class ships. Give the food, good shows, and a place to read a good book book while watching he ocean pass by is all they need.  The Empress, Majesty, Vision class, and Radiance class provided those amenities. The The Vision and Radiance are really a great class of ship that I am sad will be  leaving.

The Bliss bought all the tenders last week.  Our ship had to use our own.  We had four running that took ~100 passengers each.   Princess is arriving last so it will probably be the farthest away.  It's tender ride will possibly be longest.   Carnival might not starve it's cousins of all the tenders.

A little off topic but I noticed Enchantment was doing 2 7-night sailings from Galveston next year.  If I remember correctly it was Key West, Nassau then Coco Cay.  Looked like 2 weeks in a row then back to regular 4 and 5 night sailings to W. Caribbean.  Thought that was interesting.

I don’t see this as a design flaw at all. I actually enjoy the centrum on the smaller ships. We have to remember that not everyone likes the larger ships. Some feel that they are confusing and hard to maneuver. Also, the clientele that certain itineraries attract don’t need a ship with flow riders and bumper cars because the amenities are hardly used. Anything over 8 days tends to have less families who aren’t picking the cruise based on the ships physical amenities but more so the destination.

Goes to show how the media rarely gets it right, Vista isn't the largest ship in Galveston.
Carnival Vista: 133,500 GT, 1,055 ft long, 3,950 passenger capacity
Liberty of the Seas: 154,407 GT, 1,111 ft long, 4,370 passenger capacity (4,960 maximum theoretical capacity if every bed was occupied)
Largest cruise ship at the Carnival pier maybe.  Carnival only has medium sized ship, by RC standards.
Largest cruise ship when Liberty of the Seas isn't in port?
Furthermore, Vista isn't Carnival's largest ship either.  Sister ship Carnival Horizon is 96 GT larger and has 4 additional passengers.
