The odds of bad seas are about as predictable as the rain 6 months from now. You could have anything from flat water to hurricane inspired waves.

Yes you will have to carry your bags off if you want earlier enough embarkation. I think the earliest luggage tag won't be called until after 7:30.......this based off docking at the scheduled time. The port you are sailing from will matter. If it is port evergreen in FLL, you MIGHT be able to make it. If the ship docks on time and you are in a Lyft/Uber or whatever transportation at 7:30. Since it's like 15 to 20min to the airport from the port. If you are sailing out of Miami or port Canaveral I worry. You need to factor in 35min to an hour to get to the airport......after you have gotten your transportation. Both are busier airports and you have an international flight. 11:30 means boarding will began at 11 and usually the doors will close at 11:20. Without precheck the security lines could be an hour+ wait. MCO is particularly known for this. Good luck! I hope it works for you.

It has seemed to us that even if the comedians are the same, we have a much better time (and perceive the act better / more interactive) in the Attic than the theater.

Also they could not offer any deals, I am currently B2B2B on Freedom. They are offering 20-25% and Chop's+1 for $99. But this was only on 2/3 sailings. A ship like Grandeur has 3 specialty restaurants so they are more desperate to sell their products. I was on her last January and they were allowing diamond members to bogo, even though it's a D+ perk.

I saw a gym video tour of the Wonder where it looks like there are Peloton bikes available outside of the classroom, but they have a sign on them asking "Want to take Peloton for a spin?". Does anyone know the details of these bikes? Can they be used independent of classes? Do they have to be used with Peloton or can they be used on their own? They can be seen on this video tour at about the 1 minute mark.

$103 for Beach Club here in a couple weeks. Nothing will ever beat that 79.99 I paid in 2021.

Doing a 5 day cruise from ny to Bermuda in October. I get motion sickness. How bad are the seas that time of the year ?

Currently on Freedom, I just want to say I got offered Chop's +one onboard for $99+grats which comes out to just a few dollars less than the CP advertised price. BTW the onboard price for Chop's is $70+ grats. So the savings are there in a sense.

First of all...so excited for another blog by you! Love the way you guys travel. I don't know how Europe prices have been flying out from Newark, but we are headed to Barcelona early July and flight prices have been disastrous from DTW. That is putting it mildly. And we have the freeloaders with us too. Yay! So awesome! Dubrovnik is a hidden gem, and it most definitely is stunning! We have only been there once, way back when before the freeloaders arrived. We knew nothing about Dubrovnik, didn't do much research on it. I remember the focus that cruise was all on Italy and France. Anyway, that ended up to be one of our favourite ports. Go high if you can. The view from above is breathtaking there. Excited to follow along!

This has been seen on several sailings. The downside is that you probably wont get any preferred seating times since those book first. You are likely to have your choice of eating at 5:30 or 9:30, if at all. You can completely forget about going to Hibachi by waiting/hoping for that deal onboard.

Whatever day, Nassau for the 3rd time....... I need to work for about an hour. Might get OJ and come back to room.....there is still pizza left. It's humid, so I was going to get off, just to stretch my legs. But not worth it, will go on deck and read something. There is an ice show at 10:30, so I will probably head there. I haven't sat through one show this cruise. There has been a headliner and they were not my cup of tea. Despite that full meal, my brother is hungry in the morning and is headed to the WJ for breakfast. Then to work in the library.

For those Star Class peeps out there, this photo by @JohnK6404 sums up perfectly a major downside of the Royal Loft on Icon. If you are tall person, you can probably touch the floor of the RLS balcony from Deck 16. And zero privacy obviously. Such a poor design/location for that room.

I was on Wonder last week - one of the FB groups admins was supposed to get married on board but something happened and they "lost" her booking and someone else was scheduled instead. Sounds like they may have switched things up and older bookings may have been lost in the change-over. Hope it works out....

Ugh. $141.99 for AD 7/27/24 for us. I have yet to go to beach club cause of this ridiculous pricing. That's probably the once place that would tempt me to get off the ship at PDCC.

If you really want that early boarding slot, you will need to stay up until midnight (lately, it's been a couple minutes after midnight until the check-in activates in the app) but as @Fastfaller said, you really don't need to worry about it. On my sailing on the 12th on Wonder, we showed up to the terminal at 10:20 (with a 10:30 check-in time) and they were announcing that they were not limited on boarding time slots and everyone was welcome to come in. If we had arrived earlier, we would have needed to wait in the chairs until they started boarding Suites, Pinnacle, and Key folks before the early boarding slots but as we arrived at a good time, we just walked on with the current boarding group that was walking onto the ship.

So I caught that price drop on July 2025 and August 2025 sailings thanks to @Shari Sunday afternoon, and then yesterday, my TA caught another small drop (a few hundred again) on the same two sailings. Small wins

I believe this to be true because when you use the phone to scan the passport and take the picture they are able to verify the information from the passport and capture the necessary information for facial recognition. When using the computer to check-in, they still have to verify the passport information and potentially take a new photo if the one that was uploaded doesn't meet the requirements.

Hotel Dei Mellini.Very nice breakfast spread every morning as well with excellent COFFEE. Prati part of town. Next to Tiber river, near an on again, off again river ferry dock. Walkable to Trevi fountain and Pantheon. Also recommend using the on and off bus service. Walked to Colosseum, took cab back. Great food everywhere. Felt save at all times.

I checked prices this morning and many of the PDCC activities - including the Beach Club and Hideaway are on sale. Cabanas are still laughable. The Beach Club is $92.99 and Hideaway is $29.99 again. This is for Indy 6-6-24. I am slightly tempted for the Beach Club although this is still too much....no interest in Hideaway as that was a one and done for us. Hopefully others will find similar sales for their cruises.
