  1. Past hour
  2. It's not typically paired with bourbon specifically, each course is paired with a different cocktails that use a variety of liquors. Not sure if you can ask for alternatives but it isn't the default at least
  3. Well it must be random because all the ships did it 5/10 years ago all the time.
  4. Unless you're stopping in Colombia. I think one other rarely-stopped-at Caribbean nation too.
  5. Okay that helps. You should be fine for an 11:30 flight. You can use the elevators. But the later you wait to leave, the longer the wait. I have known people to get up at 6am, then be sitting on deck 4 or 5 at 7am for when they open the gangway. The Windjammer usually opens at 6am if you want breakfast. You can hit the buffet and be down by the exit before 7am.
  6. Today
  7. If one is an American citizen and going on a closed loop cruise this passport is perfectly fine. There is no six-month validity rule
  8. You will have to sign a waiver, but it will be no problem. Be aware that the teen group can come and go as they please and the activities are all optional.
  9. I still have mine. I also have a Captain's club one form Celebrity
  10. I agree on the ice show - I honestly feel that the ice shows are the best shows on the ships. And yes, I saw the band in the Music Hall - they drew me in when someone got off the elevator and I heard big horns blaring. They did a "Tower of Power" style show that was pretty good.
  11. So I have tried searching but that seems impossible or it is all posts from years ago. I am wondering if anyone has recently (like in the last year) done the beaches and caves excursion through Royal in Grand Bahama Island and if they had a great time doing so, or maybe you had the worst time of your entire vacation? I am just trying to figure a bit more of what I can expect from this excursion. I can see some information online, but I tend to trust the great people in this community over some others!
  12. Says 2006 and property of "Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd."
  13. My brother decided against breakfast and got his work done. I thought I was well rested but took a slight nap after finishing my work. We then went to ELF, the picture is of one of the 3 of my brother's plates. We sat on deck and ate, it's hot and popping. So many wardrobe malfunctions. Personally if I have to constantly adjust or be afraid of the elements, I wouldn't wear it . The app updated and now it won't display anything. My brother said if there are escargot on the MDR menu, he wants. So we will see. Sailaway is soon. People continue to vape wherever. The promenade, restaurants, on the deck by ELF. Its crazy.
  14. Yes, I have ours... are they THAT old? They're in a pile with old sea pass cards.
  15. Agreed on both counts. I can appreciate what they were trying to do with the aqua show, just wish there was more diving. Thought Effectors II was OK the first time, just geared to families, with cool special effects (especially at the end). When we saw it the 2nd time we thought it was incredibly slow... still liked the ending at least. The ice show on Wonder is our favorite. We'll be back on her a week from Sunday and could easily just see the ice show and comedy. Headliner will depend on who it is. We don't usually sit and listen to a ton of music while cruising but I've heard the band that currently plays in Music Hall (Centerpiece) is good. I found a few clips online and they seemed a lot better than the band that was on prior to them (Temperature). Saw some Journey and Queen covers that sounded pretty good... music I don't mind listening to while using up drink vouchers if we have no other plans later in the evening at least. Did you happen to see them at all?
  16. Royal pricing makes absolutely no sense. As @Atlantix2000 mentions all that really matters is the final price. I never look at whatever 'sale' or 'promo' they are offering because as OP says 'the math ain't mathing'
  17. Thanks for heads up! We are trying Hideaway Beach, have repriced it twice now, from (prices in Canadian) $70.99 to $65.38 and today again to $51.42.
  18. Anyone else still have their mid-2000's issued C&A card? (thumb over the member ID)
  19. The description alone didn't make me hot to go see (probably the main reason why we missed it). I also felt the aqua show was just OK (felt the one on Harmony was better with more of a story of a beach resort heist in the 50s) and Effectors II just seemed to go on too long but the visual effects were pretty good.
  20. Good thing to know about with United is that they are part of Star Alliance, which has their Connection Service. Star Alliance Connection Service Details
  21. Super-late price drop for Hideaway Beach to $19.99 on the last day of the Cruise Planner for Icon on Saturday. Perhaps not selling well?
  22. Last cruise we got to the terminal at 10:15 and there were already dozens of people waiting.
