Andrew72681
Probably a question best posed to @WAAAYTOOO if I booked a cruise through Casino Royale by way of my existing status with MGM Mlife do I need to visit the cage to sign up for a program when I get on board or is it automatically done? First RC cruise so only entry in the system would be from this booking. Made for a great discount on our junior Suite without any existing play so worked out great already
KJ1231
If I'm not mistaken you get automatically enrolled when you give the pit boss your Seapass card or insert it in a slot machine. I didn't talk to anyone on our first cruise in June. Just played blackjack for a few hours on two occasions and got an email from Casino Royale in July with an offer code that translated into ~10% discount on an upcoming cruise. WAAAYTOOO
Hey, Andrew. I am also a member of MLife (through my status at RCCL !!! Just the opposite) but I have never sailed using an MLife reward. I would say that you should introduce yourself to the casino host, if for no other reason, just to make sure that he/she knows you are there on a casino reward. If you think you will sail with RC again, I would say that it would be in your best interest to try and maximize your status with Club Royale even if you have status with MLife already. Whether or not you will get the free casino drinks or the waiver of the 5% convenience fee (or complimentary or discounted internet) is a question I do not have the answer to. I sure hope you get them both. Good luck and enjoy your cruise !
Andrew72681
Thanks. Don’t get the free drinks (at least it’s not a published benefit) but do get the cash advance feee waived. The bigger benefits if we hadn’t booked a suite would have been the priority checkin and the departure lounge access, and I’d never turn down free OBC. Then you don't have to carry a bunch of cash onboard. You will be eligible for free drinks once you accumulate at least 1000 points onboard so be mindful of that and check periodically with the casino host. He/she will put a sticker on your seapass card and you will start getting the complimentary drinks. You're better off in the suite anyway as it will give you both priority checkin and departure lounge PLUS priority disembark. Wise move. APM
I have used my MLife platinum status before. Casino host awarded me 10?drink tickets and if i needed any more i could go back and get more. The $200 obc was a nice perk worse thing is if you have independent status with both programs (MLife and club royale) they won’t allow you to cross streams...can’t updrafts a comp MLife room with a club royale discount rate . Uggh WAAAYTOOO
gr82knowme
Mlife perks aboard Rccl is confusing. I guess being a platinum, you are auto enrolled in Casino Royale? You can now just input your Mife card # and last name into www.clubroyaleoffers.com and your offers will com up. But where does this put you with Crown and Anchor? Trying to figure out the "free" drink situation....trying to avoid the deluxe beverage package. BTW- somehow offer was input incorrect as a gold tier. After a month+ of trying to get it corrected, I finally got a rep that made the call. (on the day the offer expired and after 20 calls from me checking)...only to find out they were out of outside cabins on my requested sailing. Still grabbed an inside, but was pretty mad they dragged their heals and left me hanging and disappointed. I asked for extra OBC or drink package but got denied.
