mickjacket
Not looking for a deal! I'm one of those who would give up a few perks to plan it on my own. So I want to use that enjoyment to become a travel agent from home. Part time for now and maybe someday full time. I have a couple of online companies that deal with mostly cruises because that is what I love, however I have not committed to either yet Can anyone offer any suggestions, ideas or stories of how you got started? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Matt
I'm not an agent, but I'd assume it's like taking a job at any company, where you ideally want to find a company culture that meshes well with you and your work style.

fonemanbob
Also consider working for RC from home or any cruise line for that matter. Look in the back sections of any travel or cruise magazines for travel agent or cruise agent job listings. You can set the hours and the days you want to work. Good luck.
