MAB1999
Hello everyone I am new to RC and we have booked a trip in Aug on Oasis. My question is does RC ever offer anything for Military personnel? Thank you and I look forward to chatting with everyone
Dawn T.
We got a military discount on our first Royal Caribbean cruise back in July of 2010. I think it was $250.00. I haven't seen one since. I always check the box for military though when I make my reservations. Our discount in 2010 was even after final payment and Royal applied it as an onboard credit. I don't think that would happen now. After final payment, they will not give you reductions to your price. It doesn't hurt to keeping checking your reservation to see if another sale or the military discount should pop up. Oasis is an amazing ship and you will love it! Have a great cruise! rjac
Welcome aboard Army guy! I, too, am retired Army. Yes, you should have received a military discount, did you tell them you are active/retired? If you didn't, call them back, also if you are over 55, tell them that also. That's good for another discount. On board, some ships offer a military get together for all active/retired military on board. That is open to all branches of the service as well as members of foreign services. This usually posted on the bulletin board near the guest services desk and, I believe, on the cruise compass.
