Going on Jewel in February, and will be calling on 5 ports I’ve never been to. St Thomas,, St Lucia,, St Kitts,, Barbados,, Antigua We are Beach people. I have no interest in sightseeing, history, rum factories, or shopping. Without doing an all inclusive, what suggestions do you have for these ports ? Matt Posted January 10, 2018 Report Share Posted January 10, 2018 Also worth noting in all these islands, it's quite easy to get off the ship, hop in a cab, and tell the driver to bring you to a nice beach (based on what you're looking for). My Dec 6th visit was shortly after this beach re-opened post Irma. RCI partnered with the local Parks authority to restore Magens Bay Beach. My visit documented in this post in a live blog here in the message boards: Anthem St Thomas Dec. 6, 2017 $8 by safari taxi each way, plus tip, $5 entrance fee. Osu_buckeye Posted January 15, 2018 Report Share Posted January 15, 2018 Jolly Beach on Antigua. Saw several of my casino "dealer friends" there playing beach volleyball and eating/drinking at the bar right on the beach. Guessing they would have a good idea on better spots (balance distance from Port with amenities / quality of beach). Reportedly, there are 365 beaches on Antigua - 1 for every day of the year.
