NoobCruise Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 It's the last night of our 7 night Mediterranean cruise on Voyager. The cruise started July 1. It has been amazing and I have a lot to say but I am kind of surprised that there was no free lobster night. There were two formal nights. One on the 4th of July (not a great idea but this was not an American cruise) and one on Saturday the 6th. Neither night had lobster on the menu other than the upcharge one that is there every night. I have to be honest the frozen lobster they offer on lobster night is not that great or anything to get excited about but it is a bit of a tradition. Lobster night! And there wasn't one. Is this a European cruise thing? A new dining MDR thing? That's for any responses. Quote

twangster Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 The complimentary warm water or Caribbean lobster have never been offered on European cruises. This does catch some people by surprise from time to time.  NoobCruise 1 Quote
Ryan79 Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 No lobster nights on Euro cruises. This has been the case for a VERY long time now. NoobCruise 1 Quote
RCARD Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 After cruising exclusively from North America, we took a 2 week Mediterranean cruise over 10 years ago. No lobster. Â We were told, when we inquired, that lobster wasn't a menu item outside of the US. Â Live & learn. Interesting to note that we once took a Florida originating cruise immediately following the ship's Atlantic crossing. No lobster on that cruise either. Quote
