Thompson Posted January 25 Report Share Posted January 25 Does uber offer car seats? We've only used uber once or twice (without kids.) We parked at Port last time. We'll just do that again if we have to. We don't want to haul a car seat onto the ship if we don't have to. We leaving in May out of New Jersey. Thanks for the help! Cactus527 Posted January 26 Report Share Posted January 26 More than likely, any Uber/ Lyft that you're going to get will not have a car seat, nor will you be able to request a driver that has a car seat. Depending on the port you're going into as well, you might inquire with some other shuttle services to see if that's something they might provide. You could always drive yourself so that way you have the car seat, or you might see if you know someone that could drive you with a car seat. If they did have it, it would appear as an option from the various Uber ride types available. Yes, the inflatable ones are great if your child meets the weight criteria to use them (typically >40lbs). We asked the hotel we were staying at and they said to use the shuttle we would have to provide our own car seat also. Unfortunately we don't know anyone in the area to drive us. We drove to Port and parked last time and will mostly do the same until hes atleast in a booster. Rather not chance it and not get suck either at the hotel or Port because we can't get one with a car seat. Thank you for the advise!
