We are sailing on Enchantment this weekend for 7 nights and it was less than $4K for a junior suite with trip insurance and gratuities included for 2 adults and 1 child. We personally don't mind the older ships especially since it's our son's (3 years old) first cruise and he'll have nothing to compare it to so everything will seem new and exciting! I prefer the Oasis class ships but for a suite this time of year the prices for those this week/month were over $2k higher than what we paid on Enchantment and we booked over a year ago!

The people I'm traveling with had a GTY regular balcony and automatically got assigned a Spacious Ocean View Balcony instead! I think that's an upgrade that they didn't have to RoyalUp for. Some people get lucky I guess!

My mother has done the cosmetic procedures on the cruise. I've found them to be good on the ship but much more expensive than on land. I get mine done at my Dermatologist's office instead.

Didn't realize that PRIME came with benefits. OOPS! I missed out on those in a recent year and now see that I'm back down to choice since they reset each year: Tier Credits are earned from April 1 to March 31 the following year and determine your Club Royale tier status. Tier Credits reset to zero at each annual tier renewal on April 1st. All Club Royale members will receive an extension of their 2020 tier status through March 31, 2022

Does anyone know the final time-frame you have to change the name of someone traveling in your cabin? Is it by the final payment date or 45 days (at check-in start)? Or another time? Thanks!

We also take extra cash on board to tip the room steward, waiter, and assistant water. We rarely tip the head waiter/supervisory guy/gal unless he or she provides exceptional service. Our last few cruises we saw them only once or twice in a week-long cruise. We also tip on the diamond drinks; I try to bring enough $1 bills to tip a few dollars per drink served using our vouchers! I use the spa/salon quite a bit during my cruises so I will tip over the 20% (automatically added to the bill) sometimes for exceptional service there as well.

We did a photo session years ago - the pictures were amazing but the packages were just WAAAY too expensive for us so we passed on them all. It wasn't worth it. The photo shoot wasn't that fun anyways. We were in 2 different cabins but they let us do it as one family though.
