Izumi for Lunch table size

I wanted to take advantage of the izumi sales in the cruise planner and when I select a reservation for 3, it says there are no reservations (We're stuffed! Reservations are not currently available). But when I select 2 people, suddenly there are plenty of time slots. I've never been to izumi before and wonder if they only have tables for 2? It seems unlikely that there are only 2 seaters left for all the reservation times. Are there any workarounds for this? Do I need to call?

Are you trying to book Izumi Sushi or Izumi hibachi? The hibachi has a set size for their tables and they may only have 2 seats left at the table during all the lunch lots.

I'm trying to book izumi sushi, not the hibachi.

I'm pretty sure on Independence all of the sushi tables are two-person (and there's only like three of them), but they also offer limited seating at the sushi bar. It was a lot bigger on Quantum, by comparison.

Are you using a TA? I would ask them about it, they might be able to straighten it out.

OK, it looks like they let me book a reservation for 2 and a reservation for 1, so maybe they can seat us near each other or let us get it take out so we can eat it somewhere else. I'll ask Sharla if she has any insights. Thanks for all your help!
