Cruiser70
Hi We are headed on a out in Dec. We have done this itinerary before and always stayed on the ship when going to Cape Canaveral and Nassau. Wondering if anyone can suggest a beach day. Thinking about something to do this time. Thanks again for your input. Pat
Matt
For Nassau, check out Resort For A Day (contains an affiliate link, but it costs you nothing extra). There's beach resorts you can get a day pass to there. In Port Canaveral, you can go to Jetty Park or one of the beaches around Cocoa Beach. Thanks for sharing it, I see how that can be very useful.
VeronicaS1970
We did the Margaritaville day pass earlier this year in Nassau. Very nice. The British Colonial Hilton is supposed to have reopened, right next to Margaritaville. We did that numerous times when baby girl was young. Close to ship, clean facility. Hoppy2BHere
Pat, Local to PC. Tons of beaches just south of the port. Cocoa Beach pier area is nice and some stuff to do.. Coconuts on the beach is further south but great local spot and nice beach. Also in cocoa beach area is Ron Jon’s and other places with “Florida” things to do… J&S KJ777

It looks like Baha Bay, RIU, Breezes, Warwick, and Margaritaville are the choices. Thanks!!
Sea Squirrel
Sandals Royal Bahamian is great if you're traveling without children. It is a little pricey but very nice and the all-included food and drinks are great. Baha Mar looks nice but check reviews, I believe pools and some of the other areas are restricted to resort guests unless you pay additional for Beach Club access.
