sydney
Hi, Just wanted to know how you can claim Crown and Anchor member status benefits like 10% on wines and other benefits! Do I need to tell waiter that I am on Platinum status and they will include discounts when I am buying drinks (and I will need to do that every time I am buying drinks) or there is way to ad that memberships status to your card and they'll know soon you scann your card. Any help or details will be much appreciated!!! Thanks, Bob
Peter D
All the benefits with Platinum tier are already loaded to your account when you board, but you will want to manage the usage. You would want to tell the waiter or bartender when to use them (50% ones and 10% one) each time and if you are a wine drinker, that would be the best value rather than beer and soda. You'd want to do the same for the one-time coffee beverage discount. The casino $4 free play is also automatically applied to your account. Pattycruise
There should be a piece of paper with your platinum benefits in your cabin. It’s not endless discounts. Usually it’s a one time use. You tell the waiter/bartender if you want a discount/offer applied. In the casino ask the host for the directions how to transfer your few dollars of freeplay to a machine.
PPPJJ-GCVAB
As @Peter D and @Pattycruise mentioned…the discount is not automatically applied. If you do not request it you will be charged full price!

WAYNO
Oh I hope you figure it out, and can explain it to me. On paper, there are some seemingly lucrative discounts for different C&A tiers. I've yet been able to figure out how to apply them. When I order the package(s) online, I find no place to apply the discount. Then when I'm on the ship and ask for the discount, they say read the fine print and then understand you cannot use the discount on products you've already purchased online. Oh, but they did offer me the option of cancelling my package, and re-buying it at a rate higher than the C&A discount would save me. cedricmr
You must choose: - buy before the cruise (with a discount, a sale, a special offer...) OR - during the cruise with C&A discounts (and there, always specify that you use the voucher or C&A discount)

The discount paper is in the cabin and applies to items purchased onboard. cruise planner pricing is pretty much always better than onboard pricing. An exception MAY be some spa massages where the ship is older and sailing with clientele that don’t like to part with their $$. In that rare case the spa massage onboard might be a better deal- you are almost always better off purchasing packages in the cruise planner. The C&A discounts like a BOGO on a glass of wine/beer can’t be had in the cruise planner-and you tell your bartender/waiter of the “coupon”/“discount” you want to use.
