Deluxe drink package

It’s definitely a personal choice based on individual unique circumstances. I get diamond vouchers and I have prime status in the casino. Considering I can get all the alcohol I could ever drink for free, why would I want to pay for the DBP?  But someone without these perks may find a benefit to the DBP useful. I do like the refreshment package if it is on sale.

I am like you, Diamond (soon to be D+) and prime. My last sailing was on Grandeur, since it was a really basic ship, I don't think I drunk from anywhere but the casino. I even forgot about my diamond drinks the first couple of nights. Prior to being prime I was getting the refreshment package, I don't drink coffee, but no longer need that.

Related question — if you have a package, is there somewhere you can get cans/bottles of sparkling water?  How about plain water?

You would be able to get all of that from any bars. Not soda package though, its only fountain and freestyle.

The wife, and I toyed around with this for several years of just getting the RBP and did the calculations. We ended up loosing money pretty much every single time. Wife drinks very little, and I don't drink alcohol at all. So we might get may 4 actual drinks in per day, not including waters. Now with the rest of the family, soda/flavored water is OK. We are also diamond and have the vouchers, and this cruise we are also in a suite. So it made little to no sense for us.
