Nickel30
Hello! It is our first time sailing with Royal Caribbean (Odyssey in April). We are flying in the night before. We were wondering if there are any hotels you would recommend in Fort Lauderdale that provide a shuttle to the Cruise Ports? We see multiple hotels that have shuttles/transfers to the airport, but we were wondering if Cruise Port transfers from a hotel exist? Any helpful advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you! Lovetocruise2002
The Holiday Inn Express on 17th Street has a cruise port shuttle, but I don't recommend it. I actually don't recommend any hotel shuttle to the cruise port in Fort Lauderdale. It is fairly easy to get to Port Everglades by Uber/Lyft from anywhere in Fort Lauderdale and much cheaper than a shuttle.

Do you feel there are enough Uber/Lyft drivers near the port where you can easily rely on them to be on time?

Lovetocruise2002
@Nickel30, you can even pre-book Uber/Lyft if that makes you feel better. I have not done that myself but other here have done it.
Ampurp85
The FLL hotel shuttles will run you at least $20pp. I find it is cheaper to do Lyft/Uber and you won't have to wait long. However, keep in mind that the port does check the vehicles, so factor in a bit of a delay for that.
Ontariocruisers99
We asked about a shuttle to the Cruise Port last month when we were at the Four Points in Ft Lauderdale. They said it was $15 each. We took an Uber for half of that and it was great. We checked multiple times in the morning and there was always an Uber a few minutes away. Port Everglades is super close to the airport, so always tons of Uber/Lyfts available at any time.
VeronicaS1970
Agree on using Uber/Lyft. The shuttles run on strange times and we're definitely more expensive than Uber. Have done it at both FLL and MIA ports. The Holiday inn express on 17th I can also recommend
