Hey, there isnt a train route, so the quickest would be a taxi of some sort. There will be various 'airport transfer' runs that will be the cheapest. You could get a coach, which would be the cheapest option, but relying on convenient times, it would take about 2 hours. Last option would be to hire a car and drop at Heathrow, the drive is only 90 mins tops.

If you are booked contact Air2Sea and ask them the earliest flight you can get booked with them.  That is my guideline for the earliest I should book.  Additionally Royal might offer a shuttle to the airport.  You can ask Air2Sea about that as well.
