Purchased a guarantee balcony room and have not gotten assigned to deck or stateroom yet. Despite that, just received an email to bid on an upgrade. Va4fam Posted January 5, 2023 Report Share Posted January 5, 2023 We have booked a GTY balcony a few times. Our room assignment was not provided until close to embarkation date. Might not be enough time to bid on a Royal Up after receiving the assignment. I agree with @SpeedNoodles, I would bid on a higher category room instead of similar room type.
