It may also depend where it is in the itinerary and the course the ship takes. In my case we left the mainland on the way to Hawaii and had Na Pali first so we had port side to the coast until the bridge did a 360° turn and then carried on. YMMV. I wouldn't stay in my cabin for this portion of the cruise. You will get much better views being out and about from the front of the ship to the railings, regardless of class of ship, get out and see it from all sides.
