Realistically, without being rude to the crew. If we were out of our staterooms and in a public area. How late can we wait to depart the ship on turn-around day? We have an 8pm flight departing Orlando so we don't need to hurry at all.

9am - assuming you left the cabin at 7:30am - 8am so they could start cleaning it for the next guests. Staying in your cabin past 8am is rude to the cabin attendant and will likely cause them to miss or cut into their mid-day break.  

By 9:10am you are probably being paged to get off the ship.  By 9:20am they will start trying to find you.  

Once the breakfast service is done nothing is open.  Crew are in turn around mode.  There is nothing to do other than sit somewhere which you can do at the airport.  

They offer excursion transfers with luggage service for the day of departure.  With a later flight they are totally worth it.

We have a 9 pm flight so we went on resortpass and got a pool/resort access for a day.  Jane
