nick_b
We've got a cruise coming up in a couple days on Harmony. This will be our 5th cruise and we have 4 kids. Typically we will purchase 4 sets of beach toys (buckets/shovels) and tote them to the beach excursions. After the cruise, we just leave them on the balcony since there's no way we'd fit them in our bags. I'm assuming the toys just get thrown away, but I'm wondering if we could skip the step and ask our room attendant if there are beach toys from a previous cruise that we could use instead. CrznTxn
Never heard of them keeping beach toys to reuse. Typically anything left in the cabin goes to lost and found off ship and if not claimed the off-site company sells it. Could be a new revenue stream for Royal renting them out. Matt
I'd say there's a zero percent chance at that happening. As you guessed, anything left behind is tossed, regardless of how useful it might be to another guest.
CrimsonCruiser
Apparently collapsible toys exist on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/collapsible-sand-toys/s?k=collapsible+sand+toys Maybe these would be better for you since they would take up less space?
