Chris Ferrari
Hi fellow RCC members Cruising on the Odessy of the Seas in July (Med) & have now received travel docs, but it appears that I still cannot book / reserve evening show enetertainment. When logging onto RCC account it states that shows can be booked once on-board. Have concerns in that : Do the shows commence the same time overnight ? Are there two show times - early & late ? Do they fill up if you dont book ? If you are dining at a particular show time - can you catch-up with stateroom TV-streaming later within your stateroom ? Apologies if this is within a previous forum write-up - search string didnt pick up much detail. Thx Chris
twangster
The cruise compass section on this site lists show times from previous sailings: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compass Show times can vary depending on the show and venue. There are typically two show times to accommodate early and late seating dinner. Certain shows are more popular and will be more in demand. Odyssey typically only uses reservation for the Two70 show "The Book". The main theatre is typically first come, first seated (no reservations). The production shows are not recorded for play back on the TV system. Shows like Love and Marriage are usually recorded and can usually be found on the TV system. Carotthat
We've been on Odyssey two weeks ago and they had the first showing times per reservation, and the later ones (4th and 5th day) on a first come basis. But don't worry, if you check the app after boarding, there shouldn't be a problem. Showgirl is a must see! Chris Ferrari
FionaMG
On my Odyssey sailing on 7th May, only three shows required booking once on board: Showgirl, the Effectors and the Book. All the others were first come first served. There was a section of seating at each show that was being "guarded" by an employee for priority seating (The KEY, suites and possibly D+ and Pins). About 10 minutes before the start of the show those seats would be released for general use. If you're interested, my recap blog will give you an idea of what to expect: Chris Ferrari
